I'm told I was plonked down in front of the tv to watch the moon landing on 20th July 1969, at just six months old. It must've made an impression, as 50 years later here's a compilation album telling the terrestrial to celestial and back to terrestrial tale of Neil, Buzz and Mike's little holiday (John Jervis). THE MOON AND BACK features new and exclusive tracks from (among others) the Popguns, Rocketship, Darren Hayman, the Leaf Library, Feverdream, My Favorite, Famous Problems, the Great Electric and Spaceship, as well as haikus read by Amelia Fletcher, Pam Berry, Rob Pursey and Kevin Pickering (from indie legends Saturn V!). We start off on earth with the indiepop jangles of the Popguns and Whoa Melodic, the powerpop garage leanings of Mock Rockets, Pete Weiss and Famous Problems and the epic synthpop of My Favorite (they are Americans) and Rocketship before the Nameless Book undertake a 12 minute real-time kosmische accompaniment to the Saturn V lift-off. Things get altogether more spacey, ambient, floaty and dreamy once we leave the earth's atmosphere. Firestations sing about The Overview Effect (something that astronauts report feeling when they see the earth from space; a feeling that everything is somehow connected, fragile and precious), Deerful talks about Chronostasis (due to the nature of spacetime, a clock that is moving relative to an observer will be measured to tick slower than a clock that is at rest in the observer's own frame of reference) and Retep Folo describes a vision of a child's sense of not belonging to earth, and instead feeling more at home in another galaxy. We are touching down on the moon at the start of disc two (or track 20), playing tribute to Margaret Hamilton (the American computer scientist who developed on-board flight software for the Apollo space program), as well as Neil (and that missing syllable), Buzz (and the joy of kicking moon dust as if it were snow) and the moon itself. Mikey Collins sings about his namesake (this stuff isn't just thrown together) circling the moon alone (and growing a moustache while he does it!) and Spaceship (this stuff isn't... you get the gist!) celebrates Larry Baysinger (the ham radio operator who eavesdropped on the Apollo mission from Louisville, Kentucky). The Leaf Library help us say goodbye to the moon and tranquility base, The Reverend Johnny Kinkaid references the conspiracy theories (Capricorn One fans), we doff our cap to Major Tom, before breaking back into the earth's atmosphere with Feverdream, splashing down with Papernut Cambridge, and learning Newton's Laws of Motion with David Brand and the Popguns. Cue closing credits, acknowledgements to NASA and the women and men that made it all possible, and the swing of Keiron Phelan's take on the classic "It's Only a Paper Moon".01 the Popguns - Carrying The Fire : Prelude in F# minor & Launch 02 Mock Rockets - Small Step 03 Rob Pursey - Haiku - in the year 2525 04 Famous Problems - Hey Moon 05 Pete Weiss - Here We Go 06 Pam Berry - Haiku - Katherine Johnson 07 DJDownfall - T minus 25 08 Whoa Melodic - Come On Buzz 09 the Popguns - Are You Ready To Go? 10 My Favorite - Blues For Planet X 11 Rocketship - Our New Remix 12 Kevin Pickering - Haiku- Saturn V 13 The Nameless Book - AS-506 14 Yukka - Floating in Blackness 15 Solar Bones - Houston 16 The Great Electric - Afterburner 17 firestations - Overview Effect 18 Deerful - Chronostasis 19 Retep Folo - Galactic Star 20 Basic Design - I Am Overloaded With More Tasks Than I Should Be Doing At This Time 21 Darren Hayman - Just One Syllable 22 Pam Berry - Haiku - Margaret Hamilton 23 Tufthunter - Moon Boots 24 numün - Tranquility Base 25 Jack Hayter - Buzz #2 26 Golden Spike - The Third Man 27 Mikey Collins - Down To Earth 28 Spaceship - W4EJA 29 Amelia Fletcher - Haiku - Passing The Torch 30 The Leaf Library - Tranquility Bass 31 Cecilia Lund - one step 32 Jeanines - Tilt In Your Eye 33 The Rev. The Perfect Sheets To Lie On While Writing Amazon Reviews
Size: Full, Color: Light Gray
As I write this, I am laying on an adjustable full sized bed by Hofish and a 10.5" comfort foam mattress by Classic Brands. I know I sound like I am an Amazon plant, but I swear I am not. I'm not even a stockholder anymore.
This is the most awesome bed stylings combination I have had in many, many years. In fact, it is the best I have ever owned and it is beat only by some ritzy resort I stayed at on vacation like 20 years ago, though I admit I was pretty drunk the entire time so my memory might not be the most accurate.
But getting back to today... these sheets are great. I washed them twice - I'm not a neat freak, I am just amazingly disorganized and easily distracted while doing laundry, so tonight they went though two wash cycles and one dry. And then I put them on the bed. While these sheets are not deep pocket sheets, they don't need to be with this mattress. There is enough room and border for them to tuck and wrap with the elastic to give a strong grip under the mattress, which is important as the adjustable frame continually put the sheets and mattress though its repeated adjustable calesthenics-type positioning. The other two sheet sets I have used since I got this bed have struggled poorly with this. In the day or so and at least a dozen position changes, these sheets stay in place with no popped corners to exposing the bowl as the head and feet rise. Of course, till will tell if it lasts, but so far they are the best of the batch of sheets in my closet.
As for texture, they are awesome. I'm a dude. I don't really know what thread count or knit or whatever really means. But these sheets feel like a well-washed favorite, quality rock & roll concert t-shirt. And not one of these glitter puff stupid new groups, like a real rock band from the 80s that now charges $250 for a concert ticket and $60 for a t-shirt...but that group you saw back then, paid $10 for the shirt and you STILL have it and love to wear it because it is perfectly molded to your body, soft and reliable. The kind of shirt you will wear under your suit at work and just grin not just for mental middle finger to corporate dress codes, but because the t-shirt is just that great of a feeling.
Well, that is what these sheets feel like. And now you get to sleep in it. It is that awesome.
In LA right now we are having a nasty heat wave, but these sheets don't seem to bake me even with my stuttering AC. The flannel sheets I love seem to trigger the butt sweats as soon as I lay down in this heat, but no such problem with these.
So really, I'm absolutely happy with these things. I am going to order more in other colors as soon as Amazon gets them back in stock. Great price, great quality, great comfort, great fit, great deal. It is that simple.

Soft smooth and wrinkle free!
Size: King, Color: White
The most comfortable sheets I’ve had in years! Soft and don’t wrinkle up in the bed. Some reviews said they are thin but I think they’re perfect! I don’t want super thick sheets as we are hot sleepers. These are the perfect feel. They also stretch very well to fit on my mattress all the way around and I have a thick mattress! My precious sheets were a struggle to get over the corners but these fit perfectly. Would buy 10 times over! Such a good value as well!

Soft Material, but Color Not as Expected
Size: Queen, Color: Oatmeal, Size: Queen, Color: Oatmeal
I did not open or use this sheet set because the color wasn’t suitable for the occasion I intended. I prefer to return items in unused condition so they can be resold as new, so I cannot comment on the exact fit. From a price point, it's value for money.
From touching the fabric through the packaging, the material feels soft and of fair quality. There is no unpleasant smell, and the overall functionality seems fine based on its construction.
My only disappointment is the oatmeal color—it looks somewhat dull and gives off an aged or slightly used appearance. I was hoping for a brighter, creamier tone. Aside from the color issue, the product appears to be well made and comfortable, which is why I’m giving it four stars.

Nice and soft
Size: Queen, Color: Chambray
Update: I’m very happy with this sheet set! I’m currently only using the fitted sheet as I don’t have a need for the top sheet or pillow cases right now. It hasn’t popped off the mattress at all like the previous cheep sheet I had.
Original post: The sheet set arrived today. Haven’t actually tried it yet because I need to wash it first. From I can see, looks great. Once it’s washed and on my bed, and can figure out how to update my review I will do so accordingly. It’s soft like most people have said and the color is nice, though they didn’t have my favorite color purple in a shade I like so I got the ‘fancy blue’ (don’t remember the actual name of the color) because I desperately needed a new sheet of quality.

Very comfy sheets, nice fabric
Size: Full, Color: Oatmeal
I wasn’t expecting such good quality forthis price. They’re very soft, but of fairly thick fabric. I’m sleeping great on them. The pockets are deep enough for an 8” foam mattress plus my 3” topper. Will be getting another set for the second bedroom.
