Power Driven Machined Stepped 3rd/Direct Reaction PlateThe Power Driven Machined Stepped 3rd Direct Reaction Plate allows for more third gear direct clutches. Required to fit (6) GPZ clutches in 47RH or 47RE drum and up to (7) GPZ clutches in 48RE drum. Note: Some early 47RH and 47RE 3rd direct drums have a taller aluminum apply piston and will require a new thin . 062" snap ring to ensure that adequate clutch clearance is maintained. A minimum of . 012" per clutch and a maximum of . 020" per clutch is
The Power Driven Machined Stepped 3rd/Direct Reaction Plate allows for more third-gear direct clutches. Required to fit (6) GPZ clutches in 47RH or 47RE drum and up to (7) GPZ clutches in 48RE drum.
Note: Some early 47RH and 47RE 3rd/direct drums have a taller aluminum apply piston and will require a new thin .062" snap ring to ensure that adequate clutch clearance is maintained. A minimum of .012" per clutch and a maximum of .020" per clutch is recommended for most applications.
