A delicate jewel of nature-inspired beauty, this antique charm (circa 1910) features a finely detailed leaf of 14k gold, adorned with green and orange enamel that captures the soft tones of early autumn. The enamel work is beautifully executed, showcasing the artistry and attention to detail characteristic of early 20th-century jewelry.
Originally an antique stickpin, the piece was thoughtfully converted by our jeweler through the removal of the stem and the addition of a custom jump ring bail, allowing it to be worn as a charm or pendant while preserving its historic charm.
The charm measures approximately 0.9 inches from the top of the jump ring to the base by 0.4 inches wide, weighs 0.72 grams, and remains in great antique condition, with vibrant enamel and crisp goldwork.
For assurance of authenticity and quality, the gold has been professionally tested using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming its 14k fineness.
A lovely example of Edwardian enamel artistry, this gold leaf charm is perfect for collectors of antique nature motifs or anyone drawn to the delicate beauty of hand-painted enamel jewelry.

Bottom line - Strategy is the way to accomplish political goals - it has been that way in the past and nothing will change - that’s the whole book
I am not sure why General Mattis includes this on his reading list - it is def one of the weaker recommndations
