From watercolours to pastels, pencil and oils, Ronnie illustrates his fearless approach to contemporary art. Lifelong friends and inspirations are captured in a range of styles, offering an intimate insight into his rock ‘n’ roll life.
This monochromatic artwork was originally released in 1988 and depicts Ronnie’s fellow bandmate and guitarist, Keith Richards. The humour of the original etching (including Keith’s surprised expression!) has been captured using a drypoint printing technique, whereby the fine lines of the scene are scratched onto the printing plate with a sharp needle.
