The HPE 5130 EI Switch Series is designed to elevate access-layer performance in medium to large enterprise campuses. The HPE 5130-48G-PoE+-2SFP+-2XGT EI Switch combines a dense PoE+ port count with robust uplink flexibility, enterprise-grade QoS, and security features, all delivered with resilient management through HP Intelligent Resilient Framework (IRF) stacking. This switch is engineered to power converged networks that carry voice, video, data, and wireless traffic with predictable performance, while keeping total cost of ownership low through energy efficiency and simplified operations. With its fixed 370W PoE budget, this model ensures reliable power delivery to IP phones, cameras, access points, and other PoE-enabled devices, helping IT teams deploy scalable campus networks without sacrificing performance or manageability.

  • Powerful PoE+ access with ample budget: 48 PoE+ ports deliver up to 370W of total PoE power, enabling flexible deployment of IP phones, surveillance cameras, wireless APs, and IoT devices across the campus. The generous PoE budget helps keep infrastructure simple by reducing the need for separate power injectors or transformers, while ensuring devices receive stable, standards-based power for reliable operation.
  • Enterprise-class QoS and security: The switch provides robust quality of service controls, traffic prioritization, and security primitives such as access control lists (ACLs), VLAN segmentation, and policy-based management. These features help guarantee critical applications—like voice and video—receive the bandwidth and low-latency treatment they require, while keeping user and device access isolated and protected from threats on other segments of the network.
  • HP Intelligent Resilient Framework (IRF) stacking: IRF stacking delivers simplified, fabric-like network topologies that scale smoothly as your campus grows. With IRF, you can create a single logical switch from multiple physical units, enabling seamless failover, simplified management, and increased bandwidth without complex routing between devices. This makes maintenance windows shorter and downtime less likely, while offering centralized policy enforcement and streamlined configuration across the stack.
  • Layer 3 routing and dynamic capabilities: The 5130 EI Switch supports static IPv4 routing and RIP, empowering efficient inter-VLAN routing and scalable campus routing without the need for an additional core router in smaller or mid-size deployments. This combination of Layer 3 functionality with high-performance switching helps you consolidate devices at the access layer while preserving robust routing options for campus-wide subnets.
  • Flexible uplinks and reliable performance: Equipped with 2 SFP+ 10Gb uplinks and 2 XGT 10Gb copper ports, this model provides versatile connection options to aggregation layers, data centers, or distribution switches. Whether you need fiber-based uplinks for long-distance runs or copper 10Gb connections for rapid convergence at the building edge, the 5130-48G-PoE+-2SFP+-2XGT EI Switch delivers high throughput, low latency, and consistent performance under heavy load.

How to Install HPE 5130-48G-PoE+-2SFP+-2XGT (370W) EI Switch

  • Plan and prepare: Before installation, map your IP addressing scheme, VLAN plan, and QoS policies. Ensure you have the latest firmware and have access to the HTTP/HTTPS management interface or SSH for configuration. Verify that the power budget aligns with the connected PoE devices and confirm rack space, airflow, and grounding requirements are in place to maintain optimal operating temperatures.
  • Rack and power on: Install the switch in a standard 19-inch rack with proper airflow and cable management. Connect to a reliable power source that supports the 370W PoE budget. Power on the unit and confirm fans and LEDs indicate normal operation. If you’re integrating with IRF, plan the stacking arrangement and ensure all members are rack-mounted in a consistent orientation for predictable management.
  • Connect uplinks and access ports: Wire your distribution or data-center uplinks to the 2x SFP+ 10Gb interfaces and the 2x XGT 10Gb copper ports, depending on your topology. Plan VLAN tagging on access ports to segment traffic for voice, data, and video services. If you’re deploying IP cameras, phones, or wireless access points, ensure their power requirements stay within the 370W budget and configure PoE scheduling if needed to optimize energy use during off-peak hours.
  • Initial configuration (CLI or web UI): Access the switch’s management interface via web GUI or CLI. Create essential VLANs, configure IP routing (static routes or RIP if required), and enable QoS policies that prioritize latency-sensitive traffic. Establish IRF stacking if you're deploying multiple switches to form a single, resilient fabric. Apply security baselines, including ACLs and port security measures, to protect the network edge.
  • Test and validate: Verify connectivity across VLANs, confirm PoE power delivery to connected devices, and run throughput tests to ensure uplinks are functioning at expected speeds. Check IRF stability by simulating failover scenarios, and confirm that centralized management and monitoring are operational via SNMP and the web UI. Schedule regular firmware updates and security hardening tasks to maintain long-term reliability.

Comfy pillows! Excellent deal
Color: White, Size: Queen(2Pack)
I received these pillows shrink-wrapped flat as a pancake. But I've received other things this way including whole king-sized mattresses and they always puff up to normal size once you pop them out of the plastic wrap. These pillows puffed up pretty quickly. I did shake them and pound on them a little off and on for about an hour before slipping some pillow cases onto them. Their not super fluffy but not too flat. I like that their soft yet have a little support. My husband really likes his too. We both get a good sleep on these. I'm a side sleeper so it's really comfy for me to have some "squishiness" like these have. As far as quality goes, these are nicely stitched and the fabric feels soft. The pillows are rather lightweight and I won't know how durable these are until we've used them for a while.

Impressive Set of 4 King Pillows – Comfort Meets Quality
Color: Black, Size: King (Pack of 4), Color: Black, Size: King (Pack of 4)
Impressive Set of 4 King Pillows – Comfort Meets Quality I recently upgraded to this 4-pack of king-size pillows (20 x 36 inches), and they’ve been a fantastic addition to the bedroom. Certified by Oeko-Tex, they’re suitable for all sleep positions—whether you’re a side sleeper like me or prefer your back or stomach. The feel strikes a perfect balance between soft and supportive. The microfiber filling cushions your head and neck without going flat, so I wake up without the usual stiffness. They bounce back quickly after use and keep their shape well—just give them a quick fluff when needed, and they’re good to go. They do need about a day to fully expand once unboxed, but that’s expected. The design also deserves a mention. The subtle stripe pattern gives the pillows a clean, upscale look—definitely not your average basic pillow. They’d make a solid gift, too. Cleaning is easy: toss them in the washer on a gentle cycle with cold water, then either air dry or tumble on low. No hassle. If you’re looking for a dependable set of king-size pillows that feel great and look sharp, these are worth it. I also took a picture of it next to a standard pillow so that you could see the difference in the size from King to standard. Hope that helps, overall definitely buy these pillows if you are hesitant there is no need to be, these pillows are perfect in my opinion

I bought this because I needed to replace old pillows. After using it for a few day I liked that they stayed fluffy and cool all night. My guests loved them too! The quality feels high end. I would recommend it for anyone that likes high end feel without the the high end price.

Comfortable pillows
Color: White, Size: King (Pack of 2)
I bought the king size and they are like a small body pillow. They’re soft n squishy which I like but yet provide the right amount of support. I’ve bought these twice and the 2nd set seemed a little less filled than the first but still comfortable. I would buy again.
