We are surfing our one a little thinner at 2 7/8' thick, in beachies. Don't go too short on this board, a bit more length will let you shuffle around on it a little and it still turns on a dime. The roach has been blowing our minds so far, this is the dream board for perfect open faced pointbreaks with the classic single fin feel, yet responsive enough to work beautifully in junk as well.
