There's a poignant double meaning behind the new album Love and Leave You by the Edmonton, Canada, based folk duo 100 mile house. As on their award-winning previous work, Peter Stone and Denise MacKay seem naturally attuned to life's impermanence; the reality that we must cherish what we have, while knowing we must eventually let it go. Made with a host of guests ranging from JUNO nominee Chloe Albert to a heart-swelling string section, Love and Leave You builds on the themes of longing and love of 2016's Hiraeth, which earned 100 mile house a Western Canadian Music Award, and a Canadian Folk Music Award nomination. On Love and Leave You they have emerged-stronger, wiser, and more honest than ever before. Denise explains, "Our writing has evolved from songs about Peter moving to Canada from England and the two of us meeting each other, to songs about the struggles of starting a family, the loss of loved ones and how the visions you had for your life inevitably change. We believe our songs have grown in the same way our relationship has as we've matured. " From a sonic perspective, Peter adds, "For Love and Leave You, we decided to strip everything back, and even though there's a fair bit of instrumentation on it, I'd say it's our most bare bones recording to date. I wanted to take this approach to give the album it's own character, but also to force the songwriting and lyrics to the forefront. " As they approach two decades since their first chance meeting, both Stone and MacKay's lives and the music they make have become inseparable. It's palpable the moment you hear them sing together, and cuts even deeper as the stories they tell unfold. 100 mile house make timeless music in the truest sense; by opening themselves up in ways many of us wish we could. And on Love and Leave You, with Stone's deft production bringing the songwriting and lyrics to the fore, we share that connection, and for that reason alone it is their best work to date.

Excellent Warranty Coverage – Fast, Fair, and Hassle-Free
I purchased the ASURION 3-Year Portable Electronic Accident Protection Plan ($500–$599.99) for an Android 13 8.8” touchscreen stereo installed in my BMW (CCC system). After about two years of normal use, the Android stereo stopped working completely.
I filed a claim through Asurion’s website, and the process was straightforward. Initially, Asurion asked me to remove the unit and prepare it for return, advising that they would email me a prepaid shipping label. I de-installed the stereo from my car and packed it up as instructed.
After two days passed without receiving the shipping label, I was about to follow up—when I received an email notifying me that Asurion had issued a full refund of $459.00. I did not have to ship the unit back.
That level of service exceeded my expectations. The claim was handled quickly, communication was clear, and the resolution was fair and hassle-free.
I purchase an Asurion protection plan with every high-dollar item I buy on Amazon. I’ve had to file a three claims over the years, and each time the experience has reinforced that this coverage is well worth the cost. When something fails outside the manufacturer’s warranty, it’s a relief knowing Asurion stands behind the product.
Highly recommended for expensive electronics.

PROTECTION WITH ABSOLUTE EMPATHY & RESPECT
Had an issue with a product I purchased over a year ago along with an Asurion protection plan. Thank God I chose this extended plan. I was waiting for a return ticket you get it repaired and Asurion sent me a full refund. I am so grateful for Asurion and I encourage everyone to get these plans and get the added protection on products NOT made as they once were. We as buyers are terribly taken advantage of with the garbage sent to us that we pay very very high costs of. Asurion has NEVER failed me and the customer service reps are extraordinary and kind and very very respectful.

Dishonest Company
Purchased a Halowview BT7 RV Backup Camera along with the Haloview BTC 129 RV Side Cameras for a little over $550 in September of 2022. Due to a couple of poor reviews on this manufacturer I opted to purchase the 3-year $500-$599 extended warranty for both items at checkout. One of the side cameras went out and when I contacted Asurion they advised me that it was not covered under the warranty that I purchased. They said they will only cover one item at a time on an Amazon order and I was only covered for the $339.57 Backup camera on the order. I tried to point out that I would not purchase a warranty for $500-$599 on something valued at only $339.57. Asurion tried to blame it on Amazon and advised that their terms clearly state they only cover one item per invoice and that I had no warranty on the second item. When questioned about how a consumer is supposed to know this information, they advised that I should have read all their terms on their website. They refused to repair or replace the defective item even after confirming that the policy value was for $500-$599. Total waste of money!
