The TRENDnet TI-PG102 is a rugged, industrial-grade PoE+ switch designed to power and connect a wide range of devices in harsh environments. With eight PoE+ ports delivering up to a combined 240W of PoE power, it enables seamless deployment of cameras, access points, IP phones, and sensors right at the edge. Two additional Gigabit RJ-45/SFP shared ports provide flexible uplink options to your core network, helping you build scalable, low-latency networks in factory floors, transportation hubs, and other industrial settings. Engineered with an IP30-rated enclosure and convenient DIN-rail mounting, this switch combines reliability, performance, and ease of installation for industrial networks that demand uptime and resilience.

  • Eight PoE+ ports with a total 240W budget: Power a fleet of IP cameras, wireless access points, and PoE-enabled sensors directly from the switch, reducing the need for separate power supplies and simplifying installation in space-constrained environments.
  • Two gigabit RJ-45 / SFP shared uplink ports: Flexible uplink connectivity that lets you mix copper and fiber paths to your core network, supporting congested campuses, long-reach installations, or redundant links for mission-critical applications.
  • Rugged DIN-rail mount and IP30 enclosure: Built to withstand industrial conditions, vibrations, and dust, while mounting neatly on standard DIN rails for organized, space-saving deployments in control rooms and equipment cabinets.
  • Intelligent QoS and network protection: Quality of Service features prioritize latency-sensitive traffic such as video streams andVoIP, ensuring smooth operation of critical devices in industrial networks.
  • Lifetime Protection and reliable performance: TRENDnet’s durable design and lifetime protection provide long-term reliability and peace of mind for deployments that require consistent, uninterrupted operation.

How to install TRENDnet TI-PG102

  • Prepare the installation site: choose a sturdy DIN-rail mounting area inside a ventilated, dust-controlled cabinet or enclosure to protect the switch and connected devices.
  • Mount the TI-PG102 on a standard DIN rail: align the switch with the DIN rail track and snap it into place securely, ensuring it is level and stable to withstand vibrations.
  • Provide power to the unit: connect the appropriate power input as specified by TRENDnet’s installation guide. Ensure the power source meets the switch’s requirements and that connections are secure to prevent power interruptions.
  • Connect PoE devices: plug your PoE-capable devices (such as cameras, IP phones, and wireless access points) into the eight PoE+ ports. The switch will allocate its 240W budget across these ports as devices negotiate power.
  • Establish uplinks and network integration: use the two Gigabit RJ-45 / SFP shared ports to connect to your core network or to fiber media converters as needed. If using SFP modules, insert them per the manufacturer’s guidelines and connect the appropriate fiber connectors.
  • Configure management features: access the built-in management interface to configure QoS, VLANs, PoE scheduling, and security settings. Create policies that prioritize real-time traffic and protect critical devices from network congestion.
  • Validate operation: verify PoE delivery to powered devices, check link status LEDs, and confirm network reachability from a central controller or monitoring system. Periodically review power consumption to ensure you stay within the 240W budget.

Frequently asked questions

Atlanta During the 1890's
Format: Paperback
Whether you like The Downstairs Girl or not depends on what you crave. If you crave historical fiction that will teach you, or that helps you realize the myriad of things that were going on in a certian place and time (Atlanta during the 1890s, or an imaginative author who never use trite metaphors or similes, you will love this book. Or if you want to quickly turn pages, you will be disappointed. If you want a simple plot, do not read this book. If you want an intricately spun story with plenty of mystrey, humor and many surprises, you will love it. Jo Kuan is a Chinese American without voting rights, deStined to be a servang and doesn;t knw who her mother or father are, lives in a basement of a family with Old Gin who she thinks of as old man who adopted not offically but out of love. Chinese Americans were brought into the South after the Civil War to take over what slaves used to do but instead of no pay, they got tiny pay. You could walk or take a streetcar to work. Blacks sat the back of the streetcars, but if you were Chinese American, you didn't know where you sat or were told to gat off. They could not own or rent, where were you supposed to live; It was the start of Jim Crow laws and of cocoa cola. Women suffragettes started working towards the vote of white women. This was not a quiet oeriod of history. I thoroughly enjoyed this peak at Atlanta in the 1890's through an Asian American young woman's eyes, ears and even her nose.

Very Informative, but lacking in one or two areas.
Format: Kindle
I'm disabled and need a better living condition. I'm already on the waiting list for S8 and have been for the last year and a half. The book is informative, but it lacks in some areas. The author seems to think that many on disability have the option to "physically move around" doing chores and visiting offices. I'm a disabled 53 year old man, homebound and just recently lost daytime access to my little truck, only available to me during the weekends and evening hours, and when I do have it, it's rare I drive long distances. I cannot even afford to ride public transportation and have no one else to lean on for support. Also he seems to think that buying donuts/lunch for the whole office is a way in... maybe it's a way in for those that can afford it.. but not for many. Other than that.. it's worth to buy the download of the book itself.
