Optical Performance
These 8x32 binoculars use the System H5 optical system with extra-low dispersion glass to reduce colour fringing and improve image clarity. Fully multi-coated lenses and phase-corrected BAK-4 roof prisms with silver mirror coating deliver bright, high-resolution images with strong contrast and accurate colour reproduction. The 8x magnification and 32mm objective lenses provide a balanced mix of brightness and portability, supported by a 4 mm exit pupil for consistent viewing in varied light conditions.
Field of View and Viewing Experience
A wide field of view of 135 m at 1000 m (7.7° actual, 62° apparent) makes it easy to track moving subjects and scan large areas. The binoculars also support close focus down to 1.2m, allowing detailed observation at short distances. Smooth focusing combined with a strong depth of field makes them quick and intuitive to use in the field.
Comfort and Adjustability
Designed for extended use, these binoculars feature 17 mm eye relief and twist-up eyecups with position stops for comfortable viewing with or without glasses. The interpupillary distance adjusts from 56 to 75 mm, ensuring a secure and personalised fit. Right-eye diopter adjustment allows fine tuning for individual vision differences.
Build Quality and Durability
The housing is fully waterproof and fog-proof, making them suitable for use in changing weather conditions. A rubber-armoured exterior provides grip and impact resistance while maintaining a compact and balanced feel in hand.
