Little Butterfly Records presents a first physical issue of Los Nuevos Creyentes's El Sonido Bendito de los Nuevos Creyentes (2017). "After the auspicious homonymous EP (2015), with just five songs, Los Nuevos Creyentes released online El Sonido Bendito de los Nuevos Creyentes (2017), their first LP that reflects the band's musical universe. Sometimes, the wavy guitars of Matías Singer and Zelmar Borrás remind one of Television, while Santiago Bogacz's Farfisa (also known for his project Matador) gives a lysergic accent to the rhythm section of drummer Diego Prestes and bassist Rodrigo Gils. The styles that come together in this LP show a band with a certain curiosity to experiment and reflect the influences of bands like The Seeds. Their instrumental songs, like 'Palabra de Un Misionero' or 'Licencia Para Resucitar, bring a sound that rides to the temple, riding to the trance. Aside from the place they give to instrumentals, they have lyrics which have as much of introspection and years of therapy ('la pregunta es la respuesta en sí/the question is the answer itself' in 'Espectro') as redemption, broken hearts and sordid thoughts released on parole. There is also a remarkable fascination with esotericism and the mysteries of invisible worlds: from the band's name (Los Nuevos Creyentes/The New Believers) and the album's title (El Sonido Bendito de los Nuevos Creyentes/The Holy Sound Of Los Nuevos Creyentes) to their attention towards life in outer space. These space cowboys bring a perfect album for a spaghetti western soundtrack, where the awaken outsider arrives to a bar in the middle of the desert, thirsty, asks for hard liquor while he watches the sheriff's wife and lays his gaze at a fixed point, just to hallucinate with new mirages." -Nelson Barceló

Comfort meets fashion

I have owned a million pairs of shoes. And I am truly a rarely viewer, but these shoes are an unquestionable five stars.,These are perfect summer loafers. They fit like a glove, but do not fit tight. It is literally like walking on air and the inside is completely cushioned so you can comfortably wear without socks. They are good for dress or casual, but I like them best with jeans. They’re so comfortable I could sleep in them. Forgot price… reasonable too!

Well Made - But Feet Beware - Not Slip Ons Due to Highish Type Sides and Longish Tongue

Very well made but not casual slip ons for my feet at least for the following reason : the sides are high: about .5 of an inch higher than a lot of models of driving shoes or casual 'slip ons' and the tongue of the shoe is about.3 of an inch longer : the combination makes these not slip ons for my foot with a 10.5 regular as we have to work your foot into these - which is not a Slip On.... at least not for me. A classic slip on whether a moccasin or a driver shoe is lower on the sides and does not have a pronounced long tongue... That being said, these do appear to be genuine leather and well made. They would be good for an extra pair of casual indoor loafers if your feet fits the pattern. The leather is soft and likely to stretch FYI. A good reason shoe stores still exist : try on the merch first as all feet are different. Happily Amazon accommodates quick returns so no worries and not being critical here- just informative

Borderline Fraud: A Profound Waste of Money
Size: 11, Color: A-black
The shoe pictured and the shoe delivered may as well be from another planet. Pictured is a fairly nice, well constructed shoe made of what appears to be leather or a high quality leather substitute. Delivered was a flimsy shoe made of plasticky vinyl with a sole constructed of grainy rubber blocks individually and sloppily glued without care to the bottom of the shoe, also vinyl with an eight of an inch of the same grainy rubber coating it, offering no solidity or support.
Having been worn a total of one day, the majority of which was spent seated at a desk, the vinyl has already crumpled into unattractive wrinkles and creases that resemble nothing so much as a cheap vinyl table covering wadded up and stretched back out. Taking the shoes off resulted in both insoles clinging to my socks and coming fully out of the shoe.
I would also mention that the shoe runs large, but I that would indicate that you should use my experience as a buying guide, when nothing could be further from the case. Buy these shoes only if you enjoy being ripped off, pouring money down the drain, or perhaps if you are looking for a gift for a person you despise. Outside of these possibilities, I advise you to run, far and immediately. You certainly won't be able to run anywhere with these on.
