To further boost fidelity, the housing is a die-cast aluminum for lower resonance, and the solid boron cantilever can transmit signals up to 2.5 times as fast as its aluminum counterpart. An improved accuracy that's most noticeable on dynamic musical content.
As with other stereo AT-VMx cartridges, this is designed to closely mirror the cutter heads that make vinyl masters by using the same 90° V-shape configuration to maximize tracking accuracy, channel separation, and clarity. Additional features include optimized PCUHD copper in both coils, easier installation, and more.
