SHIELDTEXSHIELDTEX was developed specifically as a lightweight, flexible, high performance OEM and after market automotive heat shield. Higher than average 20 micron aluminium foil face making it extremely durable and resilient even after repeated manipulation during fabrication. The adhesive used to laminate the foil to the glass is a special HT silicone rated to 250C rather than acrylic only rated to 180C. This in turn greatly reduces the chance of the foil

- The adhesive used to laminate the foil to the glass is a special HT silicone rated to 250°C rather than acrylic only rated to 180°C. This in turn greatly reduces the chance of the foil cracking or delaminating from the glass substrate.
- Base fabric is rated to 550°C in optimum conditions.
- Furthermore, unlike other industrial fabrics, the base glass fabric is lightly impregnated with a black flame resistant PU coating to prevent fray when CNC machine cutting and fabricating.
- A high temperature, high performance adhesive backing can also be applied for ease of applying in situ.

They are about what I expected for the price. Nice and warm, but they pill a lot and sit higher on my ankle than I'd like. Very cozy and comfy though. Great around the house, not really great for hiking though. Kinda thin after a few uses outdoors. Washable but not very durable.

These are my favorite socks

Theses socks are so comfortable perfect size and thickness theses were the only socks I took on a 2 week Ireland trip with me.
These are a great value for your money and they look so cute on, I could not find any socks in Ireland that were as soft and have the durability that these have.
I highly recommend! I am a sock lover also and picket about texture.
