Ancient of Days is not just the band's third release, but in many ways, a rebirth. It's Spelljammer's first recording as a trio - with Olsson taking over bass duties and new drummer Jonatan Rimsbo battering the skins - and the culmination of a progressive move toward a heavier, doom-laden sound, away from the desert rock leanings of their 2010 debut Inches From the Sun. Vol II saw the band spreading out into darker territories. After writing sessions fell apart in 2013 for a followup to Vol II (reissued in early 2015 by RidingEasy Records) Olsson and guitarist Robert Sorling scrapped nearly everything following the departure of half of the band. The two began to build from the ground up as a duo with new ideas that resulted in the invigorated Ancient of Days. It's the band's most focused and deliberate in both it's complexities and simplicities. There's the pummeling heft of detuned guitars rumbling across the rugged expanse of unwieldy drums counterbalanced with moments of Master of Reality-era Sabbath's introspective acoustic breaks and Pink Floyd's Meddle-era psychedelia. These extreme shifts in dynamic give the band's third album a sense of epic depth unlike most of Spelljammer's peers.

Great product!

I bought this laptop stand because I am was getting tired of looking down at my laptop screen, it was hurting my neck. Now it actually has helped me create a better setup, because my laptop is elevated and when I plug in my external monitor I can use the laptop screen at the same time, increasing my desktop space and increasing productivity since the screens are much closer to the same height now. I also like the cord management, it helps keep things cleaner. The space underneath works great to hold other things like my ipad when not in use, so my deskptop is less cluttered. I bought the one that does not swivel, its pretty sturdy and solid.

I thought I wouldn't like this stand but I decided to purchase it anyways owing to the thousands of 5-star customer reviews.
I ended up loving it. It is perfect for a tall guy like me that needs to have better posture.
The rubber pieces on the surface not only prevent my MacBook Pro 15" from sliding, but also stop the stand from scratching the base of the Mac. The Space Gray color matches my MacBook Pro perfectly.
I thought this product was going to be way too tall because of the pictures but it ended up being just about right. If you don't like the height you can also go buy the
which is by the same company but is adjustable.
I love using the hole in the back for cable management.
It is also more portable than one might think. Yes, it doesn't collapse or fold or anything however, you can put it in a bag and it will leave a nice cavity for you to place books and other materials in. I have brought it with me to coffee shops.
The only reason I am giving this product 4-stars is that it is not perfectly stable. There is a slight wobble during typing. It is not extreme enough to really get in the way of use but it certainly isn't a perfect product like some people claim. Perhaps they were using lighter or smaller laptops.

I'll stick to Rain Design

There are a lot of laptop stands out there and call me a loyalist since I bought my first Rain mStand over 10 years ago but I came back to Rain for my second one after giving the original one to my kid for college. I purchased the Space Gray version to match my current Macbook Pro color. It's still a handsome, well-crafted non-nonsense design. It's great that Rain didn't change the design much from the original one I had. It works well with padding in just the right places, and it's timeless design is a complement to any room decor. Go with Rain.
