DESCRIPTION :

Fits all standard models, Adventure Sports model requires removal of OEM skid.

Honda put the Africa Twin in the CRF category for a reason. Like the popular dirt bikes that share its nomenclature, this bike was made to not only handle the tough stuff, but also excel in it. The Honda CRF1000 was a game changer in the ADV market, and Honda has only improved on that platform with the new CRF1100. Protect your CRF1100 Africa Twin with a set of AltRider Crash Bars, and venture confidently into the unknown.

  • Hand-TIG welded 1.25 inch (31.75 mm) diameter stainless steel tubing
  • 3 piece system allows for customization and offers maximum protection
  • Available in black, red, silver or white
  • DCT filter removable with crash bars in place

The Lower Crash Bars are the foundation of AltRider’s 3-part Crash Bar system for the Africa Twin. The lower crash bars are constructed in the United States from 1.25 inch (31.75 mm) diameter stainless steel tubing with 0.079 inch (2.0 mm) wall thickness. Boasting more than twice the stiffness compared to 1 inch (25.4 mm) diameter steel tubing, no other crash bar design on the market offers such robust protection for the Africa Twin. This added strength enabled AltRider engineers to design the Lower Crash Bars to take the first hit in a tip-over or low-side crash before any of the bike’s vital components come in contact with the ground. The hand-TIG welded crash bars are CNC mandrel formed around the rear brake lever for excellent ergonomics while still providing powerful protection.

The rear of the Lower Crash Bars mount in-board of the right foot peg by way of the 3/16 inch (4.8 mm) mounting flanges, which will transfer impact energy away from the motor to the lower frame. Up front, 3/16 inch (4.8 mm) thick stainless steel brackets fastens the bars directly to the frame.

AltRider’s Lower Crash Bars are available individually, paired with the Upper Crash Bars or as part of the Full Crash Bar System, and are offered in a bead-blasted matte stainless steel finish and a black, red or white powder coated finish. M8 and M10 mounting hardware is included. The Lower Crash Bars are compatible with the factory belly pan and OEM center stand, and can be installed on both DCT and manual transmission models.

Select a configuration at the right for additional information on individual components.

Configuration notes: Save when you buy the Upper & Lower Bars Combo, and save even more when you buy the Full System (compared to purchasing each piece separately). If you are ordering only the Upper or Lower and it’s your first piece, you’ll need to order with the installation bracket. If you already have the Upper or Lower and are ordering the other piece, you can order without the bracket.

  • Compatible with both DCT and manual transmission models
  • Compatible with the OEM center stand and factory belly pan
  • Lower Crash Bars not compatible with optional DCT foot shifter
  • Not compatible with Honda Light Bar
  • Not compatible with Honda Adventure Sports skid plate
  • Lower bars may not be compatible with some aftermarket headers due to their relocation of the oxygen sensor

I like this brush
Style: Medium Dog, Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I'd used the thumb brush, the slanted brush and a human soft-bristled toothbrush on my dog over the course of four years. I hate those thumb silicone brushes because my fingers are slim so it slides everywhere. The slanted one is cool. But I got so used to being able to use this collection of human soft-bristled toothbrushes that I'd gotten from the dentist. This one felt weird at first. My dog didn't really understand what I was putting in her mouth and jerked back. We'd gotten a system down for how far back to go so I wasn't knocking her gums and held her jaw out to see her teeth. It's weird not having to do that anymore. I like the brush now. It's a little pricier than other dog toothbrushes. I think if I hadn't used human toothbrushes (and gotten so many compliments from dog vets who didn't know that was what I was using), I would've started off with this one. I'll probably use it again after the three months. Not sure yet.

Low cost buy to put off big costs later
Style: Big Dog, Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
These came recommended to us by our veterinary dentist. The bristles are soft and hold up great even with daily use on multiple dogs (they each now have their own toothbrush). It definitely doesn’t beat a yearly cleaning, but it helps prevent oral issues.

The best toothbrush, and I've tried them all!
Style: Small Dog, Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I have a little 4 year old Maltese and Shih Tzu mix. She has very tiny teeth that are already starting to show signs of dental disease. I know it's important that they get brushed because small breed dogs are more prone to dental and gum problems. But I've tried every little toothbrush out there and it's a battle trying to brush her teeth. And unfortunately she usually wins! This brush is the best. It is soft and round and she completely tolerates it. I put a little doggie toothpaste on it, which she likes the taste of, and I'm finally able to at least move the brush and paste around her gum line. She still fights me a bit, but nothing like she used to. I would highly suggest that you give this toothbrush a try.
