All our spacers are designed in-house and machined to strict tolerances to ensure a perfect fit and long-lasting durability. Our hub-centric spacer design allows the wheels to be centered with the hub allowing for wheel loads to be transferred to the hub for a stronger platform and eliminating any chance of vibration. Spacers can sometimes stick to the factory hubs due to corrosion, debris, and heat buildup. This can make it difficult if you ever need to remove the spacer. A little longer than the filter the mechanic used last time, and that is a good thing.
At first I was concerned that this filter is about 3/16" longer than whatever one was there before, but it went in perfectly, and I realized I was getting extra filtering ability over the old one. Pleased. Volvo S60 2001.

Almost a Five Star
I have used this brand exclusively on my BMW (110K) and Volvo (90K), with synthetic oil changes at 6000 miles religiously, and neither burns a single drop of oil. I have never seen any "failure" of the filter, which remains firm until the end. Unfortunately the price advantage has been eroding over the years- boo. So lost a star for that-
