Making Masala Dosa
- Heat a cast iron pan or a flat non-stick pan. The pan should be medium hot. Smear some oil if using an iron pan or griddle. Don’t smear oil on a non-stick pan, as then you won’t be able to spread the batter easily.
- Dosa batter has a medium-thick to medium-flowing consistency and is easily pourable.
- TIP 1: If it's too thick to spread, add a splash of water and mix it well.
- TIP 2: If it has become thin, add some rice flour to thicken it.
- Keep the heat to a low, while spreading the batter.
- Spread the batter in a circular way on the pan. On a medium heat, cook the dosa.
- Sprinkle some oil on the top and edges.
- Cover the dosa with a lid and let it cook.
- Cook till its base becomes golden and crisp. You can spread the oil which was sprinkled earlier on the dosa with a spoon.
- You can also opt to flip the dosa and cook the top side.
- When you see the base has become golden, the edges have separated from the pan and the dosa has cooked, place a portion of the potato masala filling on the dosa. You can spread the filling a bit if you want.
- If you prefer then you can choose not to place the potato stuffing in the dosa and instead serve it separately. Some people like to have masala dosa served this way. Simply cook the dosa without any added potato filling.
- Now fold the dosa and serve.

Good sunscreen, but the shade didn’t work for me

I bought the Colorescience Flex in Medium because I had seen great reviews and liked the idea of a tinted mineral sunscreen. The formula itself felt really high quality and it did provide good sun protection, but the shade didn’t end up working for my skin tone.
✔️ What I liked:
- Great daily mineral sun protection.
- Lightweight texture and easy to apply.
- Didn’t irritate my skin or cause breakouts.
- Nice natural finish at first.
❌ What I didn’t like:
- On my skin, the Medium shade looked orange.
- The color didn’t blend well with my undertone.
- I had to work it in quite a bit to avoid a noticeable line with my neck.
I think the formula is really good, but the shade selection definitely requires care. In my case, it just wasn’t the right match

Finally found my perfect match!! In foundation!

I’ve used many high-end foundations over the years, but Colorescience has become my everyday favorite. It feels incredibly lightweight on the skin and provides a natural, healthy-looking finish that doesn’t feel heavy or cakey.
The added SPF is a huge bonus and makes my morning routine so much easier. I also love how perfectly it matches my skin tone, it blends seamlessly and looks like my skin, just more even and polished.
If you prefer a natural, lightweight foundation with the added benefit of sun protection, this one is definitely worth trying.

Worth the investment! It lasts!!

I have been using this religiously as my foundation for over a year! I love it. It works best for me when I use moistuzer, let it dry enough so you have a little slip. A LITTLE goes a long way and double check the bottle because even when it feels empty it’s not fully empty :) it’s not a full coverage approach to foundation I use an elf glo setting over it in winter . It’s light weight and the SPF was what I was looking for!

Expensive, but a good product!

Love this product. Comes out of the tube white but changes color as you apply. I find you do need moisturizer on your face to get a smoother application - I tend to mix it with my moisturizer before applying and it works well. Am currently on my 3rd tube of the stuff. A bit pricey, but for my skin it sits better than most other products I've tried and doesn't make me break out or look shiny.

the perfect everyday tinted sunscreen! worth the $$

this product was highly recommended to me by my esthetician. I was hesitant to try it because of the price point, but once I learned I could use my HSA funds I immediately purchased! the product is not overly greasy or oily- it gives a beautiful glow. I would recommend setting with a setting spray or powder for longevity.
the coverage is buildable, but won't be a fix-all for someone desiring full coverage- as an acne girly, I am satisfied with this product while paired with a few dabs of my concealer. it works well with other colorescience products AND with my other everyday makeup products which was a huge plus for me. it doesn't feel heavy on the skin either which was also a huge selling point for me as someone who needs coverage but hates the feeling of a full face.
all in all, I think the product is absolutely worth the money regardless of it being HSA approved or not. I would recommend to anyone who loves wearing makeup but also is looking for something light and effortless.
one note about the shade- I have fair olive skin but tan easily, so I got the shade "light" -but I might try the shade "fair" next time as this shade pulls slightly orange on me. the shade matching can be difficult, but I think that's to be expected with a color changing product.
