My Review

This isn’t something I would normally reach for, mainly because clays can raise questions around heavy metals. I did spend some time looking into this more before sharing it. What made me more comfortable with this one specifically comes down to how the clay is sourced and structured.

In this case, the minerals (including metals) are naturally bound within the clay’s structure, meaning they aren’t freely absorbed the way people often worry about. The brand also shared third-party testing showing very low to non-detectable absorption, which helped give me more confidence in how it’s being used in this formula.

Not all clays are the same, so sourcing and processing really matter here.

From a use standpoint, this type of formula focuses on mineral-based ingredients like clay and baking soda to help clean and polish teeth, while also providing naturally occurring trace minerals.
