AuthPoint is used to securely authenticate users via the app on their smartphone in three different ways:
- Push-Base Authentication: see who is trying to authenticate and where, approve or block access with just one touch
- QR Code-Based Authentication: read a unique, encrypted QR code and type in a response to finalise authentication
- Time-Based One-Time Password (OTP): retrieve a time-based, one-time password to enter during login
AuthPoint is a stand-alone service and can be deployed with or without a WatchGuard Firebox or wireless access point.
