Turkmen are traditional handwoven rugs originating from the nomadic tribes of Turkmenistan and surrounding regions in Central Asia. Turkmen rugs have a long history dating back centuries and are woven by various Turkmen tribes, including the Tekke, Yomut, Ersari, and Saryk tribes. These rugs were traditionally woven for everyday use, as well as for special occasions and ceremonies. Turkmen rugs are characterized by their distinctive geometric designs and motifs, often featuring repeating patterns of guls (medallion motifs), geometric shapes, and tribal symbols. The designs are typically bold and symmetrical, reflecting the cultural heritage and artistic traditions of the Turkmen people. Turkmen rugs are traditionally made using high-quality wool sourced from local sheep. The wool is prized for its softness, durability, and ability to absorb natural dyes. Traditional Turkmen rugs are known for their rich, warm colors, including deep reds, blues, oranges, and browns. These colors are achieved using natural dyes derived from plants, insects, and minerals found in the region. Turkmen rugs are handwoven using the symmetrical Turkish or Ghiordes knot. This knotting technique results in a dense and sturdy pile, making the rugs durable and long-lasting. Turkmen rugs come in various sizes, ranging from small prayer rugs to large room-sized carpets. They are most commonly rectangular or square in shape, although some may have more unusual shapes depending on their intended use. Antique Turkmen rugs can be highly prized by collectors due to their age, craftsmanship, and historical significance. Genuine antique Turkmen rugs can date back several decades or even centuries, with each piece reflecting the unique cultural identity of the tribe that created it. The value of Turkmen rugs can vary depending on factors such as age, condition, size, design complexity, and provenance. Antique Turkmen rugs, especially those in good condition with rare designs, can fetch high prices among collectors. Proper care and maintenance are essential to preserve the beauty and integrity of Turkmen rugs. This includes regular vacuuming, rotating the rug to prevent uneven wear, and professional cleaning when necessary.Shipping Notes

Grille-ing Me Softly: A 30-Minute Makeover Adventure
Color: Single Slat Gloss Black, Size: 2019-2022 G20, Color: Single Slat Gloss Black, Size: 2019-2022 G20
Installing this grille was a breeze! It took me about 30 minutes, even with a minor hiccup of having to uninstall it to add the front camera panel I initially forgot. The grille feels incredibly durable, made from plastic that matches the quality of the OEM version. Plus, it gives my car a fresh, youthful look. Highly recommend for a quick and stylish upgrade!
