Description

Product is a 6 piece 117" Diagonal 2:1 / 18:9 fixed frame screen and is made to mount on a wall.

The Silver Ticket Products 117" 2.0:1 Fixed Frame projection screen offers powerful performance for the price.

This screen features real projection screen material, not a sheet. This material is a white stretchy, high-quality vinyl at 1.1 gain that is designed for watching movies. Wait until you see the colors! There is no resolution lost at any angle.

This screen truly assembles much faster than any other brand available! Forget about tucking the screen material into the frame - the Silver Ticket Tension Rod System saves you time and frustration. How does the material connect to the frame? Each side of the material has a pocket. A rod slides through the pocket to attach to the frame. This saves you time during assembly, but also removes any puckers or wrinkles in the viewing surface. The rod holds the material perfectly square all around the whole frame. This pocket and rod system remains hidden behind the frame so you only see the movie.

Forget about tricky installations - this fixed frame screen mounts on the wall much like a large picture frame. The sturdy aluminum frame is WRAPPED, not flocked, with a light absorbing black velvet fabric to absorb over-projected light so you don't have to be a professional when aligning your projector.

While other brands use square tubing in their frames, this screen is built with durable extruded aluminum that contours down to the projected image so you won't have any ugly shadow on the image area.

Why would I purchase a 2.0:1 projection screen with a projector that has lens memory?

You would purchase a 2.0:1 projection screen with a projector that has lens memory for a constant image area (CIA) setup. This configuration is a modern compromise that balances the need to properly display both widescreen cinematic content and standard 16:9 content, giving you a consistent viewing experience for all types of media without needing an external anamorphic lens.

Understanding the Trade-Offs

When setting up a home theater, the main goal is to maximize the visual impact of your content, which comes in two primary aspect ratios:

  • 16:9 (1.78:1): The standard for most TV shows, sports, and video games.

  • 2.35:1 to 2.40:1: The "Cinemascope" standard for most Hollywood blockbuster films.

Here's how a 2.0:1 screen with lens memory solves the common challenges of a home theater:

The Traditional 16:9 Screen (CIH)

Many people use a 16:9 screen, which perfectly fits standard content. However, when you watch a Cinemascope movie, your projector displays it with black bars on the top and bottom (letterboxing). The image is smaller, and you're not using the full potential of your projector's resolution or the height of your screen.

The Traditional 2.35:1 Screen (CIW)

A 2.35:1 screen is great for a dedicated movie room. Your projector's lens memory can zoom in on Cinemascope films, filling the entire screen and eliminating the black bars. However, when you watch a 16:9 TV show, the projector scales the image to fit the width, which results in large black bars on the left and right (pillarboxing). In this case, your 16:9 content is much smaller than your widescreen movies.

The 2.0:1 Screen and Lens Memory Solution (CIA)

The 2.0:1 aspect ratio, also known as Univisium, is a modern format that sits in the middle of 16:9 and 2.35:1. It's becoming increasingly popular with streaming services like Netflix.

By using a 2.0:1 screen with a projector that has lens memory, you get the following benefits:

  • Near-Optimal Display for Both Formats: The 2.0:1 screen provides a near-perfect canvas for both 16:9 and 2.35:1 content, minimizing the size difference between them. When watching 16:9 content, you'll have smaller, manageable black bars on the sides. When watching a widescreen film, you'll have smaller black bars on the top and bottom.

  • Constant Image Area: This setup aims for a constant image area. Unlike other setups where one type of content is significantly smaller than the other, both 16:9 and 2.35:1 content will have a similar visual impact and screen size, filling the screen to a similar degree.

  • Automated and Seamless: The projector's lens memory takes all the work out of this process. You can save two presets—one for 16:9 content and one for 2.35:1 content. Switching between the two is as easy as pressing a button on your remote, as the projector automatically adjusts the zoom, focus, and lens shift to fill the screen correctly for each aspect ratio. This eliminates the need for manual adjustments or expensive external anamorphic lenses.

  • Aesthetic and Immersion: The consistent image area and minimal black bars maintain a professional, immersive feel for all your content. It prevents the jarring size changes that can occur with a dedicated 16:9 or 2.35:1 screen.

Looks fine at a glance but definitely budget
Color: Ivory, Size: Large
I picked this up in the ivory color and the overall design leans very old school, especially with the oversized front buttons. They look nice from a distance, but up close they feel a bit cheap. The pants are one of the better parts, with a comfortable fit and an elastic waistband, and the included tie is a nice touch. Fit seems generally accurate, though having a size chart would have helped. The material is where the cost really shows, with a coarse polyester exterior and a smoother inner lining that helps with comfort. It gets the job done if you need something affordable in a pinch, just don’t expect it to feel or look high end up close.

Great looking suit
This suit is very good looking. To me, it is hard to find a suit in a cream color like this, that actually looks good. This one pulled off the trick for me! The jacket is well made and if you look at the posted photos you will see that the hankie pocket is slightly slanted. That makes this suit a bit unique among others. It even comes with the Red Tie included! It is well made, great looking, fits right and feels great.

Too Wide and Not Long Enough for Tall, Skinny Builds
I bought this for my 16-year-old son (he’s about 6’2” and very tall and slender with a normal pant size of 30" 34") to have something simple in his closet for school dances and occasional events. Gray felt versatile — something he could dress up or down without overthinking it. Sizing was the biggest issue for us. I ordered a men’s large because that’s typically what I buy him for sweat pants, work out pants and for the added length in shirts, but this suit was way too big through the waist and chest. For something labeled “slim fit,” it did not fit like a slim suit at all. The inseam measured at 31 inches, which is shorter than other suits we’ve purchased for him, and the size chart (which wasn’t available when I ordered) doesn’t even list inseam measurements at all — which really matters for tall, lean boys like mine. As far as construction, this feels more like an occasional-wear suit for a teenager than something a grown man would wear regularly. The jacket is lined, which is nice, and it includes extra buttons. But there were loose threads inside around the buttons and pockets, and some stitching — especially under the arm pit area it already looked like it could come apart with wear. The inside pocket material feels thin and not especially durable. The arm length itself was a great fit for my tall son, and even offered a little room for growth. The pants were similar. When I turned them inside out, I noticed loose threads where the seams meet, particularly at the crotch. The pocket lining material feels rough, and there is only 1 extra inch of fabric at the hem if you need additional length, where I am used to seeing 2 inches of material for adjustments. I noticed that my son wore his belt on his hips when he tried it on so he pant legs would look more of a normal length. Overall, this might work fine as a backup suit for someone who needs it once in a while and isn’t overly concerned with tailoring or long-term durability. But based on fit and construction, it’s not something I would purchase for my husband or for frequent wear.

I dislike the royal blue - I abhor the cheap, tacky buttons
I requested this product without being able to see the product photo or any information about it (beyond the title) because I requested a similarly-priced 3-piece suit on Amazon previously and that was a fine suit; it wasn't amazing, but it was decent. This is far worse and I don't think many people would feel good about spending the $75 on this. I would never wear this suit jacket in public because it would embarrass me due to the color and the buttons. I suppose the color is a subjective choice, and I like many shades of blue and have two blue suits. A dark blue would've been OK with me (preferable), or even a lighter blue could be OK I suppose - but this "royal blue" shade is nauseating to me, its as if its trying to be overly-vibrant. The buttons aren't just a problem because they're cheap plastic - their placement is reminiscent of a style of suit jackets I've only ever seen in history books or old period movies set in eras well over a century ago - nobody wears jackets like this anymore unless they're dressed in formal uniforms like police. The title says it could be for a prom? No, I would not ever wear it to a prom or suggest it as a suit anyone would wear to a prom. The pants are decent! This is why I'm giving it two stars. Initially I couldn't imagine wearing this suit in any way whatsoever but the pants fit well and have a very professional-looking crease right where it should be. The color is bad, but I'll keep it in the back of the closet for days when I have no other slacks appropriate for work that are clean. I greatly appreciate the elastic in the waistband - it has that new stretchy type which allowed me to fit into it without trouble even though someone of my weight otherwise wouldn't.

It's nice enough, but nothing spectacular
This was definitely a gamble since there was no picture provided.... But, my husband needed a newer suit, so we took a chance. Well, it's green! Which is the last thing we expected lol. But, it's not terrible. My husband actually thinks he can do something with it. I'm disappointed because it's only a jacket, pants and tie- not a three piece with a vest like i thought I was getting. Also the fabric just isn't a great material. For $80, it's not great. I've gotten better for $20 from temu. However, it does fit very him very nicely. He's about 5 foot nine or ten, 185lb. If you're in a bind and need a suit in a hurry, this will certainly do just fine. Just know it's not luxury. Pictures are taken right out of the bag, not ironed or anything.
