THE NEXT LEVEL OF TEMPERATURE CONTROL
The N54, N55 and S55 engines are no strangers to oil cooling problems, that’s why we recommend installing the MSL Oil Thermostat, especially for cars that are tuned. The standard oil temperature will reach around 120°C (250°F) with a normal driving style. The MSL Oil Thermostat will open at a lower temperature than the standard oil thermostat (at 85°C / 185°F) and will keep the temperature stable between 95 and 105°C (200 and 220°F), depending on the car model.
Installing the MSL thermostat ensures a cooler oil temperature which will result in more stable performance, but above all this improves the reliability of the engine. It is equipped with a real thermostat, not an always open solution. The oil will still reach the operating temperature at the same time as a stock thermostat.
Installation instructions come with kit, short install time.
Suitable for F87 M2 Competition Coupe, F80 M3 Sedan, F82 M4 Coupe and F83 M4 Convertible (including Competition, CS and GTS models). Also compatible with F30 ActiveHybrid 3.

The Thermostat is plug-and-play and made out of a solid block of high-grade aluminum at Mosselman's own facility. It is equipped with a real thermostat, not an always open solution. The oil will still reach the operating temperature at the same time as a stock thermostat.
Additionally, to the thermostat, Mosselman have oil cooler kits for the 1-Series E8x and the 3-Series E9x. We advise the Oil Cooler Kit for cars that use the full performance of the car during track use. The kits are available as single or twin cooler kits. The single cooler kit replaces the OEM cooler on the right side of the car, the twin kit will add an extra cooler on the left side of the car.

Do I need new gaskets for the installation?
Yes, we highly recommend replacing the gasket and 0-rings to prevent the thermostat from leaking. We have an installation kit available, it includes 2 x O-ring for the oil hose and 1x rubber oil filter housing gasket. We advise to add it to your order.
Installation Time
The thermostat is plug-and-play, which means that you don't have to make modifications to install the thermostat. Just remove the old one and replace it with our MLS Oil Thermostat. The installation time will be approximately 30 minutes.

You will not regret buying this blanket!

I was actually looking for a cotton blanket to add to my bed for fall and winter. Then I came across THIS one. It happens to be the exact shade of (“seaglass” or teal or aqua or whatever you choose to call it) blue green that I am currently redoing my bedroom in. Update: After owning this blanket for, like, a while, I still love it. Shockingly it washes up beautifully! A word of advice. Fabric softener is a big no no. It gets the fur gummy and feeling like unwashed hair after a month. I imagine. I’ve personally never gone with unwashed hair for more than a day or two. It is at its fluffy and soft best when you use one of those new Downey rinses instead. That seems to remove all residue and it comes out feeling even better than brand new. A word of warning. Do not picnic on this blanket. The fur will encase and preserve your crumbs better than Tupperware. You may find a lost treasure that you don’t actually want in there. Best used for sleeping only.

This blanket is wonderful. I'm not sure if it will last or wash well but it's amazing right now. I was looking for something that had a sort of aqua color that would go with my new sheets that are aqua but still blend with my comforter which has more blue tones in it. I took some pictures and my dog is in them because as soon as I put it on the bed she jumped up and was like "oh thanks Mom ...I love this" That is how soft and luxurious this feels.
Others said theirs was shedding. I took mine out of the bag and shook and no shedding. I did have trouble getting it out of the plastic and cut a few pieces with the scissors but once I got it started I just pulled to rip the plastic.
I took one pic so you could see the back. I would say it's like a fuzzy microfiber and the color is identical. It's just te right thickness. I love the design. It's warm to lay under but also has a warm look. It was a good value at just under $30. I know some people said it did not wash well but I'll be super careful when I wash it and even though it says hang dry I might tumble on a very low or cool dryer so that it does not mat. If it's a disaster I'll come back to report but prob wont wash it for a few months. Oh and no weird smells out of the bag so that was a plus for me since I have chemical sensitivities.
