"An astonishingly original, powerfully honest vision for true survivor justice." —Kirkus, starred review
For readers of The Revolution Starts at Home, Feminism for the 99%, and Good and Mad.
Incisive, urgent, and written exactly for our post-Roe times, Survivor Injustice is the feminist frame-changing read we need now--for each of us, and for all that’s at stake.
With an abolitionist lens, journalist and Jezebel staff writer Kylie Cheung shows how domestic abuse and state violence are systemic and interconnected. She shatters the harmful and convenient narrative that abuse is a “private matter” perpetrated by individual bad actors--and situates popular understandings of domestic abuse in an indictment of the racism, misogyny, and carcerality baked into U.S. culture and politics. Cheung explores:
- The links between capitalism and domestic abuse: how late-stage capitalism colludes with the state to incentivize forced birth and reproductive coercion
- Intimate partner violence as a tool of political silence and social control
- America’s tacit acceptance of sexual assault, from the home to the White House
- The interplay of race, power, gender, and sexuality in state-based violence
- How the United States runs on carcerality, and what that means for victims
- The way we view survival crimes, and our complicity in defining which acts are “violent” and whose actions are “criminal”
- How white feminism and carceral feminism fail us all

Style: EcoFetch
Works well. It is nice it is a different color from all the other Chuckit it balls. Dog loves it. Just wish she would bring it back.

Value for your money
Style: EcoFetch
It's definitely different from the one I lost. It's taking me some time how to throw the ball correctly. It's a hit and miss but we are getting there. When I do get a good throw, it really wings it out there.

Perfect for active dogs
This is a must-have if your dog loves to fetch. It throws the ball far with very little effort and keeps your hands clean—no more slobbery chuckit balls.
Lightweight, durable, and makes playtime much more fun (and less tiring for me!).

Way better than the M size for us
Like most people that have dogs I first went with the M size or Tennis ball size (about 2.5") chuckit for my 65-70 lbs Lab. After having that for a while and my dogs' evolution from liking to chase the ball to wanting to catch it, I started seeing how the M size could cause some life threating problems for my pup. I was on the fence for several weeks when I came across this option that included a 3" ultra ball as well as a 3" fuzzy tennis ball like ball. These balls can fly so much farther with less effort and my furry friend seeming to like them more than the 2.5 inch. It also seems to fit their mouth better allowing them to enjoy 'the game' (you lost by the way) much more.
If you have a larger dog or your dog has a big mouth, please trust me when I say skip the 2.5" M size balls. You and your dog will haves much more fun with this 3" size
