The SIIG 240W GaN PD 3.1 Charger, model 3C1A, is a breakthrough in high‑power, multi‑port charging. Built on the efficiency and heat‑reducing advantages of GaN technology, this compact four‑port charger consolidates the power you need for laptops, tablets, and phones into a single, portable solution. Whether you’re powering a home office, traveling for work, or simply upgrading your charging station, the 3C1A delivers fast, reliable, and safe charging across multiple devices without clutter or heat buildup.

  • GaN technology enables a smaller, lighter charger with less heat generation while delivering a formidable total output of up to 240W. The configuration includes three USB‑C ports and one USB‑A port, designed to handle demanding devices in parallel. USB‑C Port 1 can supply up to 140W, while USB‑C Ports 2 and 3 can each deliver up to 100W, and USB‑A can provide up to 30W for faster charging of phones, tablets, and peripherals.
  • Versatile power delivery for a wide range of devices. The charger supports PD 3.1, PD 3.0, and PPS, ensuring intelligent negotiation with connected devices for the most efficient charge. This means you can top off a MacBook Pro, a Windows laptop, a high‑end Android phone, and a tablet all at once, with each device drawing the power it needs without overloading the outlet.
  • Smart 4‑port charging designed for busy desks. The 3 USB‑C ports maximize high‑wattage charging so you can run a laptop, a smartphone, and a tablet from one centralized hub, while the USB‑A port handles accessories or legacy USB devices. This eliminates the need for multiple chargers and simplifies your workspace without compromising speed.
  • Safety and reliability you can trust. The SIIG charger integrates multiple protective layers to safeguard both the charger and your devices. Expect robust protections against over‑current, over‑voltage, short‑circuit, and excessive temperature. GaN technology not only boosts efficiency but helps keep the device cooler during extended charging sessions, extending both performance and longevity.
  • Travel‑friendly, universal voltage design. The lightweight, compact form factor makes it ideal for travel, business trips, and on‑the‑go workflows. It supports global use with common input voltages and a universal charging profile, enabling easy compatibility in different regions when paired with the appropriate outlet adapter.

  • Port configuration: 3 USB‑C ports and 1 USB‑A port delivering simultaneous high‑power charging.
  • Technology: GaN (gallium nitride) based charger for higher efficiency, cooler operation, and smaller size compared to conventional silicon chargers.
  • Input and compatibility: Designed for global use with standard AC input; compatible with PD‑enabled devices including laptops, tablets, and smartphones via USB‑C; USB‑A devices supported as well.
  • Safety features: Built‑in protections including over‑current, over‑voltage, short‑circuit, and over‑temperature protection to prevent damage during charging.

How to install SIIG 240W GaN PD 3.1 Charger

  • Plug the SIIG 240W GaN PD 3.1 Charger into a suitable AC outlet using the included plug or a compatible adapter for your region.
  • Connect your devices to the appropriate ports: use USB‑C cables for the PD ports to achieve the highest wattage per device, and USB‑A cables for legacy accessories.
  • Distribute the load across ports to maximize efficiency: USB‑C Port 1 should be used for devices requiring the highest wattage (up to 140W), while Ports 2 and 3 can power additional USB‑C devices up to 100W each; the USB‑A port can handle lower‑demand peripherals simultaneously.
  • Power the entire setup by ensuring the total draw does not exceed 240W. The charger automatically negotiates the best power levels with each connected device, so you don’t need to manually configure individual port wattages.
  • For international travel, pair the charger with the appropriate regional plug adapter if needed and use PD‑enabled cables to ensure you consistently reach the maximum charging performance supported by your devices.

....limited information about how the average person...
Format: Kindle
Coverage of the earliest period does (of necessity through lack of records?) encompass rather a lot of conjecture and assumptions. There's certainly a good coverage of the period - but it can become rather dry as it cycles through successive rulers. There's limited information about how the average person lived during the time covered. Tended to skim past extended descriptions of fairy tales of ancient beliefs and convictions. The book occasionally reverts to mentions of much later personalities (such as Freud) and comparing them to characters of ancient China!

Not worth the paper it’s printed on.
Format: Paperback
I can’t say that I was expecting such a slim volume on 10,000 years of Chinese culture to be a work of rigorous scholarship, but I also wasn’t expecting it to be quite *this* dreadful. It is badly written to the point of being unreadable, and it is clear that no one thought to edit the document before publication. I made it about twenty pages in before I had to put it down. The entire thing reads like an Anthropology 101 term paper written by a first semester college freshman who hasn’t quite figured out how to back up claims with evidence yet.
