Available at Irvine Art and Music, these pickups are the result of a collaboration between master luthier John Suhr and the extraordinary guitarist Andy Wood.
Inspired by the timeless tone of vintage T-style guitars, Andy Wood sought pickups that blend woodiness with twang, embodying the classic era of guitar sound. Drawing from his experience of rewinding pickups for legendary guitarist Les Paul, John Suhr crafted the Woodshed Series pickups using plain enamel wire, identical winding techniques, and custom Alnico 5 magnets.
