A rare and whimsical jewel, this vintage brooch (circa 1940–1960) depicts a finely detailed dog sled team crafted in solid 14k gold, racing across textured “snow” formed from natural 18k gold nuggets. The imaginative design captures both movement and charm, making it a distinctive piece of mid-20th-century jewelry.
The brooch measures approximately 0.6 inches high by 1.6 inches wide and remains in great vintage condition, with crisp goldwork and rich texture preserved.
For assurance of authenticity and quality, the gold has been professionally tested using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis and traditional acid testing, confirming its 14k and 18k composition.
A jewel of character and craftsmanship, this dog sled brooch is a playful conversation piece — perfect for collectors of figural jewelry, animal motifs, or unique mid-century designs.
Materials: 14k gold, 18k gold.
