Growing up in the town of New Rochelle, New York, young Andy Cahan was also a gifted piano player with a good musical ear. Like thousands of American kids, his life changed forever when The Beatles debuted on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. His first surf band The Jaguars became The Tokays, named after a brand of sweet white Hungarian wine. The group started to play some of Andy's original material, inspired by The Beatles and other British invaders like The Zombies and The Dave Clark Five. One of those tracks, the plaintive minor-key ballad "Where Young Lovers Go", is included here. Soon after, Andy traded his Thomas organ for the new Farfisa Combo Compact red organ. He purchased Beatle boots, as did his bandmates, and they changed the name to The Individuals. The group found time, in between band contests, to go into the studio in 1965 and 1966 to record demos - most of which can be heard on this album. The Individuals broke up around 1967 when Larry Kramer elected to go to college rather than pursue music full-time. Andy, Sandy Reiner, and Reno Franze reconfigured as The Boys In Dutch, adding Jerry Delesio on guitar, and gigged around New York throughout 1967. After that band ran it's course, Andy decided to start a new project, Euphorian Railway, with Reno on lead vocals, Vinny Derminity on guitar and vocals, Ken Lennington on bass and vocals, and Frank McConville on drums. Euphorian Railway cut an album's worth of original material in one five-hour session in March 1968 and. Five tracks are featured here, including dynamic new material. The influence of The Rascals is strong, especially in Reno's impassioned Eddie Brigati-like vocals, but Cahan's electric harpsichord provides some distinctive touches. The band was short-lived. In the summer of 1968 Cahan relocated to Los Angeles, where he quickly made a name for himself as a keyboard player and arranger, working with such people as Graham Bond, Dr John, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Harry Nilsson, and Flo & Eddie of The Turtles. He was also a founding member of Geronimo Black, along with ex-Mothers Jimmy Carl Black, Denny Walley, and Bunk and Buzz Gardner, and one-time Love member Tjay Contrelli. As for his Johnny Farfisa alias, that originated with David Gibson of Moxie Records, who in 1980 released an EP of The Individuals' mid-60s recordings titled Johnny Farfisa's Greatest Hits.

'Monoprice' = Worst stereo banana plugs on T-H-E market.
Size: 5 Pack, Pattern Name: Banana Plugs
The absolute WORST in stereo banana plugs - HANDS DOWN. After installing stereos and components for over 30 years, I'd say I'm experienced. These banana plugs fail at EVERY part of the design. Allow me to explain... 1) Starting with the tips, they are loose off the bat and fit LOOSELY in either the stereo input studs or speaker input studs by their 'girth'. They do not firmly seat in any plug and for this setup, I'm using a nearly $2K setup all together. They 'rock' back and forth (when inserted) and thus create a non-permanent connection, again, seriously making these utter junk. I've seen some items you can get by with over the years, but these aren't even rock bottom. They are unusable! 2) Next, the banana plugs themselves comes as three pieces. No non loosening o-ring seal but a plastic colored want-to-be imitation for positive and negative notation. Why do these stupid things come in three pieces? - I simply can't tell you why. I do know they serve no specific piece to solving the puzzle of installation so why do they come in three pieces...? My speculation is they are cheap china knockoffs. 3) The 'way' in which you normally install the trimmed wiring internally with the 'two-piece' design permits you to firmly CRIMP and hold the unsheathed wiring; but these do not. The overlap/overlay of the exposed wiring can only be about 2/16's of an inch thus not much to create a proper connection with. This single fact eliminates these plugs as even worthwhile component add ons; period. If you can't achieve a good ground/wiring connection, these are a defeated purpose... 4) Because of the design of these, they have no room to crimp and screw on the cable so your forced to nearly break your fingers in an attempt to get the unsheathed wire to overlay the internal threading and twist them on with all your might. This in effect breaks nearly every wire thread internally and then they breaks off inside. Absolute garbage. These are total pieces of non-quality junk that did nothing but makes me waste 30 minutes on attempting to get them securely on and another 25 to locate my Amazon account, find this product in my order and ALARM anyone else from making the same mistake I made. Now, I find out I can't even get a return on these. Thanks Amazon. Thank you third party retailer. You just made me a very dissatisfied decade long customer.

OEM is always the answer
No reason not to go OEM for this! Came with every possible gasket and seal I could need. Specifically for my Alpha One Gen 1 it took maybe 25-30 min to completely install. While you’re there check the base plate for wear and the other surrounding items like your water tube. Rather keep the lower unit off for an extra day to get another part than a catastrophic failure.
