Josh's Frogs Pro Tip: In our personal experience using this product, we've learned that it is more delicate than the Classic or Premium grade New Zealand sphagnum moss that is popular in the hobby. When raising dart frogs, they may become stressed from the smaller pieces of Chilean moss that break down and stick to them.
However using Chilean sphagnum moss in a proper vivarium setup has proven much more successful! This is due in part to the leaf litter layer creating a barrier between the moss and frogs, and also regular misting schedules allowing the animals a brief shower to rinse off!
