Higher Truth is the fourth and final solo studio album from Chris Cornell, released in 2015. It was the last collection of original material issued during his lifetime. Produced by Brendan O’Brien, the album trades the bombast of Cornell’s rock roots for a more intimate, acoustic-driven sound.

Many of the drum tracks were constructed from loops or minimal percussion, emphasizing subtlety and texture over force. This stripped-back approach gives the album a warm, introspective quality, with Cornell’s voice front and center.
