SPRINTS' debut album ‘Letter To Self' embodies their substantial evolution over the past 3 years. Transforming pain into truth, passion into purpose and perseverance into strength, the Dublin four-piece have steadily grown in stature, releasing two acclaimed EPs and building a fearsome live reputation.

'Letter To Self' is the sound of SPRINTS consolidating and levelling up. Exhibiting their most vulnerable moments and imbuing their visceral garage-punk with a palpable sense of catharsis that we can all benefit from.

Inspired by Savages, their sound matured into energetic and abrasive garage-punk, synthesising influences ranging from early Pixies, Bauhaus, Siouxsie Sioux, IDLES and LCD Soundsystem.

Singer, guitarist and lead-songwriter Karla Chubb tackles her inner turmoil head-on, and uses her platform to address inequality and issues close to hear heart, like the campaign for 'Repeal The 8th', and women’s ongoing fight for bodily autonomy, struggles with self acceptance, identity, mental health struggles, sexuality and catholic guilt.

For their debut album, the band set about transforming so-called “negative energy” into an opportunity for communal catharsis and healing. Karla Chubb sums up the message that lies at the very heart of the album: “No matter what you're born into, or have experienced, there's a way to emerge from this and be happy within yourself.”

Not for anyone taller then 6”1
Color: Dark Blue, Size: 3X-Large
It was a great quality sweatshirt! I did end up returning it only due to the fact it was to short for my husband who’s 6”8. Other than that we both loved the color, comfort, and wearability! Plus the price was amazing.

Thumbs up on this one
Color: Khaki, Size: X-Large
Very nice soft material that seems like it will be easy to clean and pack without wrinkling. A bit heavier for cooler mornings and so nice it has pockets. Nice pullover.

Nice, but not as nice as I'd hoped and the shoulders are too tight
Color: A-black, Size: Large
This is nice, but not as nice as it looked in the pictures. Still very good value for the price. It's a medium-heavy weight Q-zip that looks good, but the pics online were much nicer looking. It's comfortable and warm, but just ok overall. I like that the collar is on the taller side assuming I would wear it golfing in cooler weather, but the pockets are kind of shallow. It fits well overall, but the dealbreaker for me is that the shoulders are tight with a Large size. I could wear this out casually, but I don't think I could swing a golf club. I am 5'10" and "husky" in my old age and my shoulders are probably on the broader side, but the rest fits well so I was surprised how snug the shoulders were.
