End of the Night was conceived based around a simple, yet extremely emotionally resonant concept. Late one evening the musician and myself were listening to records at home. After many hours it got to the point where everything became completely still, the silence permeating the walls, reverberating. We agreed to listen to one more record, but what would it be? What music could answer that existential quandary of the perfect last record of the night at home? Several years passed before the execution of the concept could take place but Chris Brokaw was collecting notes in the back of his mind the entire time. I suggested collaborators like Greg Kelley (on Chet Baker style trumpet, knowing Brokaw's strong affinity for that player) and Samara Lubelski (whom he played with briefly in Thurston Moore and the New Wave Bandits). Bringing in guests such as Lori Goldston, David Michael Curry, Luther Gray, Jonah Sacks, and Timo Shanko, each track has it's own unique combination of small group formations (duos, trios, quartets) very much like jazz, both in instrumentation and mood, if not style or standards. While Brokaw himself is a brilliantly narrative guitarist, known for taking collaborative projects he's involved with to new heights, rarely has he opened his solo work to the same collaborative spaces as with his group projects. The result is a multi-hued, jazz-tinged instrumental record with a melancholy resolve and a deep blue/purple filter. Very much a product of his song writing and playing, End of the Night's guests allow the guitarist to show his interplay and prowess in a variety of settings rooted around a common theme. The album art was done by Hollywood legend Sandy Dvore (Buffalo Springfield, The Cake, Partridge Family), who composed the drawing after hearing the album in full, directly inspired by the music, adding a visual element similar to the stylistic innovations of David Stone Martin.

My buddy has been chewing on this for an hour!
Color: Green, Color: Green
This dog toy has been a great addition to our dog’s toy collection! My dog can be a pretty aggressive chewer, so I’m always looking for toys that are durable and can actually hold up to daily play. This one has been surprisingly tough and has lasted much longer than many other toys we’ve tried.
The material feels strong and well made, and the design makes it easy for my dog to grip and chew. He loves carrying it around and tossing it during playtime. It’s also great for keeping him busy and helping reduce boredom, especially when he has extra energy to burn.
Another thing I like is the texture of the toy. It seems to help keep my dog engaged, and it’s sturdy enough that I don’t worry about it falling apart right away like some softer toys do. It’s been used for chewing, tugging, and even some fetch around the house, and it’s still holding up really well.
The only small drawback is that I wish it had a squeaker inside. My dog absolutely loves squeaky toys, and I think that would make it even more exciting and keep him interested for longer periods of time.
Overall though, this is a very solid and durable dog toy that’s perfect for dogs that love to chew. If you’re looking for something tough that can help keep your dog entertained and reduce boredom, this is definitely worth try

Quality material and looks good.
Color: Green
Great chew toy for medium to large dogs. Seems to hold up to their chewing. Very heavy and could damage floors or furniture if your dog happens to throw it in the air.

Held Up Better Than Most for My Aggressive Chewer
Color: purple, Color: purple
I have to give the Fuufome Dog Chew Toy for Aggressive Chewers a solid 3 out of 5 stars.
I have a very high-energy Lab mix named Boone who is an extremely aggressive chewer. Finding toys that last in our house is nearly impossible. This is actually his second toy like this - the first one is currently in my yard in three different pieces.
While I don’t believe this toy was advertised as indestructible, I still hoped it would fully survive Boone’s chewing. Some parts have held up well, which is more than I can say for many other toys we’ve tried. However, he was still able to do some noticeable damage to the rubber portion after consistent use.
To be fair, it did last longer than most toys we’ve purchased, which says a lot considering how tough Boone is on his things. For moderate chewers, I think this would hold up quite well. For truly aggressive chewers like mine, it’s tougher than average but still may show wear over time.
