The Remo ENCORE Ambassador coated 16" is a single-layer and coated drumhead in medium strength. This head, consisting of a Mylar film, produces an open, bright and resonant sound with a lot of attack and is suitable for both batter and resonance use. Standard for live and studio applications The Remo ENCORE Ambassador Coated heads are made of a 10 mil Mylar film. By using only one layer the heads get their open sound character, characterized by a strong attack and a long sustain. They have a high dynamic range and deliver crisp, powerful sounds in all tunings. The Coated version of the Ambassador heads delivers an open, bright and resonant sound, but they sound a bit warmer than the Clear heads. Remo ENCORE The Remo Encore heads are the price-performance star from Remo's head range. The heads are manufactured in the Taiwanese Remo factory according to the design of their American siblings. A difference is made when attaching the Mylar film to the aluminum ring: Instead of connecting the two with liquid glue, the striking surface is pressed into the aluminum ring together with a steel core and thus firmly joined together.

Bought this for my son and just ordered me one

My son's college apartment runs warm (that is probably because college students trying to save money) so we decided to order him this cooling comforter. I have been wanting one since entering menopause but never bought one for myself (the things we will do for our kids but not ourselves) so when his came in I told him I was going to use it to see if I liked it and if it helped with the night sweats until we met up to give it to him...those three nights of me using it were enough for me to want one. This is a game changer! It is thin like a blanket so we removed the flat sheet and put this under our regular comforter. My husband needs the thickness of our regular comforter because he says I freeze him out at night. This 'comforter' is so soft, fits the bed great (as a blanket or comforter), and is truly cooling. Now, that's not to say I haven't woken up a little on the warm side but all I need to do is readjust to a cool spot under the blanket and I fall right back to sleep. The grey is very light but it is washable as needed.

So cozy!

I absolutely love this comforter! It's very cozy, soft, and fluffy! I bought it for a duvet that I have and it fits it perfectly. It has loops on all four sides to tie a duvet and comforter together, which is really helpful. This comforter is also breathable so it helps me sleep better at night because I'm not getting overheated. The color and appearance is true to the pictures it displayed. It also seems to be quite durable and good quality. I would definitely recommend for anyone needing a new cozy comforter!

Perfect summer blanket for hot sleepers

Oh my, we love this blanket so much. It's soft it's warm in our 65° bedroom at night I steal sometimes get too hot underneath of it and I have to uncover but it's not as bad as the one I had replaced it with which is going to be our winter blanket this is going to be our summer blanket. Can't say enough about how soft and cozy and comfortable this is it's not a heavy blanket which is not what we wanted anyways and when I make the bed it looks very nice and not puffy.
