And that shouldn’t really be a surprise, Utah’s high concentration of world-class resorts, along with plentiful snowfall makes it a paradise for anyone who likes sliding down snow. So, when Niehues set out to paint this ski map of the state of Utah, he filled it with his special affection for the area. This map, painted from an airborne vantage point, facing generally south from the Great Salt Lake toward Utah Lake captures the majority of Utah’s best skiing in one impressive panorama.
