If you're looking for high fidelity as well as high power and style, Morel's MPS 2.150 Limited 2-channel amplifier will deliver. Developed to commemorate Morel's 45th anniversary, this sleek amplifier features gold-plated wiring connections, a specially designed internal signal path, low-noise Class AB architecture, low tolerance surface mount electronic components, and computerized thermal control — all to give you the most accurate musical reproduction possible, along with pure, clean power.
High-performance options for high-performance speakers
The MPS 2.150 Limited 2-channel amplifier can power a pair of high-performance speakers with 150 watts RMS each. It can also be used to power a subwoofer with up to 300 watts RMS when bridged in one-channel mode. A unique feature of this amp is that you can select between two voltage modes in order to optimize the outputs for different speakers — High Power for 4-ohm speakers, High Current for 2-ohm speakers, or a 4-ohm sub when the amp is bridged.
Pure signal path
The MPS 2.150 Limited doesn't have any audio filters to alter the purity of the signal being amplified. The amp depends on being driven by a high-quality receiver or digital processor to deliver the cleanest amplified signal possible, with no added coloration or distortion. Separate gain controls for the two channels allow for customized applications, like when powering a tweeter and a woofer in an active setup.
