As a solo artist, backing vocalist, and vocal coach, she has contributed to and collaborated with the likes of Norman Connors, Doug Carn, Dexter Wansel, Phyllis Hyman, Lonnie Liston Smith, Michael Jackson, and many more. At 74, she shows no signs of slowing down.
Many will recognize Carne from her output in the early 1970s, alongside her then-husband Doug Carn, for the lauded Black Jazz label. During this era of afrocentric creativity, the duo’s output found themselves at the nexus of jazz’s tectonic past decade and the fertile ground ahead. Without the constraints of genre or structure, artists such as Carne, on her Black Jazz output as well as on the saxophonist Azar Lawrence’s “Bridge Into The New Age” and percussionist Mtume’s “Rebirth Cycle”, began to explore and re-interpolate, continuing the tradition of jazz music as a mode of reinvention, repurposing, and reimagining.

Cheap in all respects
I mean, how much can I complain about stainless earrings that don't even last three months? The hoop was fine, but the clasp wouldn't stay closed and then snapped off within three months. Worth the price? Kinda on the fence about that.

For your big head instead.
I bought these in anticipation of my upcoming lasik procedure. These things look great and the seller even included a cleaning kit in box. As someone who is 6'3" with a larger head, these sunglasses are snug without being uncomfortable. I actually love that since my current prescription sunglasses are so loose on my head that they can fall off during light activity or when I sweat. Now that I have my pick of the litter with sunglasses, I could not be happier with the money I spent on these and the quality that comes with them.
