Limited double vinyl LP pressing. Kawabata Makoto emerges from a period of relative quiet with his first widely available solo release in several years, the blockbuster Krautrock-flavored Astro Love & Infinite Kisses. This lovely and impressionistic record showcases the other side of Makoto's outrageous works with Acid Mothers Temple. Taking cues from classics of the genre like Tangerine Dream's Phaedra and Steve Hillage's Rainbow Dome Musick, "Dos Nurages" is the album's centerpiece, a 41-minute hypnotic epic, with echoplex'd guitar anchoring a stream of expertly done glissando. The title track is a darker drone in the tradition of Kawabata's Inui series of releases for VHF. "Woman From Dream Island" closes the record with a thick buzz of tamboura overlaid with trippy backwards guitar, before giving way to a gentle, finger-picked acoustic coda.

Good product. My dog is very entertained and stimulated by playing with it.

I'M AMENDING THIS REVIEW AND ADJUSTING THE RATING UPWARD! Though it took my dog a little while to adjust to how differently this ball behaves, HE LOVES IT NOW. I wish I could give you a sense of how enjoyable and comically entertaining it is to play with him using it. ORIG. REVIEW: Bought this for a little 8 lb. aggressive chewer who loves to play fetch. I initially bought the 2" Chuckit! Ultra ball previously. It is the most amazingly durable product I've found for this pup. Very firm, but not hard on his teeth. He's very quick and agile, so I thought he would like the eye-mouth coordination challenge of a ball that changes direction suddenly. I guess my only disappointment with the product is that the ball is hollow instead of having a solid core like the Ultra ball, so he doesn't enjoy chomping down on it the same way. The erratic bounce feature is entertaining, but the pup is a little skittish, so he was intimidated at first. He's warmed up to it, but not with the same enthusiasm as the Ultra ball. Having said all this, I don't fault the product for the rating I gave it. It is a quality-made product that performs as advertised. I just didn't anticipate that my dog would be less enthusiastic than I thought.

Highly entertained golden retriever!

My golden retriever spends hours chasing this ball. Its erratic bounce pattern keeps him engaged and guessing where to chase the ball. It is durable and stands up to chewing well.
