While it's easy say their sounds come from the 1980s, it's perhaps more accurate to say this comes out of the sounds of the 1970s that laid down much of the groundwork for the the decade that followed, this often sounding like it's coming out of various 1970s electronic soundtracks, such as the more menacing and dark side of the spectrum of bands like Tangerine Dream, perhaps showing an influence from TD's "Sorcerer" soundtrack (1977).  While this creates atmospheric soundscapes, it also has drive, and the influences of artists such as Kraftwerk, Pink Floyd, Carpenter and Moroder likely show up, as does perhaps the influence of early euro-disco of the mid 1970s with bands like Silver Convention (at at least one moment female vocals unexpectedly show up on this Zoon Phonanta LP) but reviewers use of "disco" even with the qualifiers seems a bit of a stretch.  Maybe you could place this album somewhere in the wide abyss between the raw electronic menace of early no wave and the highly produced sheen of early euro-disco, but others can probably point out some Kraut rock that had just as much influence, as this mixes the synths with organ, bass and drums.  I'd have to argue that whatever the influences, with the seamlessly mixing of sounds, this fires up the engines and provides an enjoyable trip and a fairly impressive take on a somewhat tired style. -- winch (green noise)

The debut record of Berlin’s favourite two-thirds Welsh, one-third Danish instrumental psych-disco trio, out Aug 30, 2024.  Imagine Jaki, JJ and Jarre*** locked in a room together, with a memo from John Carpenter that reads 'Goblin + Swans = ?' Something like that. Raw drums, bass, vintage organs and synths are utilised to brutal effect via 7 epic songs that deliver krautrock, disco disquietude, oscillating horror soundtracks and beyond. Or, as the band themselves insist: "the Nicki Minaj of dungeon synth". The band name, according to Anthony Burgess, is the Greek classifying nomenclature for man: aka The Talking Animal.

Zammit A.D. – drums, organs, synths.
TNT Taylor – 4-string
 electric bass.
Fred Alert – Moog, Dominion, percussion

featuring guest vocals from Gemma Ray.
Recorded and mixed by Ingo Krauss (Swans, Einsturzende Neubauten) at Candy Bomber, Berlin.

Very interesting and detailed book.
Format: Paperback
This is the first book I purchased on this subject. Certainly not a simplistic book. It took me awhile to get used to his style of writing, and he introduces things I'd never heard of. I really had to pay attention. Most of what he refers to and talks about is based in Europe, so that was a surprise, and a pleasant one. I wish this country didn't appear to be ashamed of these subjects. I found that were the other lives the people, including the government are open to what he does, consulting with nature elementals. While I was reading this in my backyard, under my only tree (the city took down the other one), I experienced some insights of my own regarding man's interaction with nature. Who knows, maybe I will write my own book on that one day!

Awakening to reality of other realms
Format: Paperback
It has been a long-time of mankind's understanding of science that we have forgotten the things our ancient ancestors knew about our planet. There are other species of life here and there is an order that we don't control directly. We can work with the spirits of nature to create balance and plenty for our existence and theirs, or we can choose to ignore and continue on our path of Earth's destruction, and ultimately this also mean's our own demise. Here is a way to awaken to the elements of Nature and how we are supposed to work together.

An enjoyable read which correlates with the books of Dick van Romunde and Rudolph Steiner. Some interesting exercises to try on one’s own to nave their own experiences. I also enjoyed his art work.

I love this book
Format: Paperback
I may not believe it all but I love it nonetheless. There is something about it that makes me happy and, as an artist, the line drawings delight me. Check it out, find your wonder and feel free to believe.
