Terrarium meets Aquarium: The Exo Terra Paludarium is a semi-aquatic habitat that mimics a rainforest, swamp, or stream, accommodating both aquatic and terrestrial animals and plants. This paludarium merges the best features of both environments: the base has a notably tall front glass, offering a higher water level and increased water volume compared to standard terrariums.

The distinctive root background offers additional climbing opportunities and replicates a natural banyan tree-root setting. The enhanced 3-D living space makes it an excellent home for various arboreal species such as tree boas & pythons, day geckos, leaf-tailed geckos, tokay geckos, tree frogs, and more.

With the elevated front glass of the Exo Terra Paludarium, you can create a significant water area or aquarium section, allowing you to keep aquatic creatures and plants alongside the land or terrarium area. Part of the aquatic zone can feature a false bottom to support the land section, conceal aquatic equipment like filters, pumps, and heaters, while also functioning as biological filtration media.
