The design is very clean and is defined mainly by its bold colour choice rather than by heavy graphic elements. The shirt uses a bright orange base with black trim on the collar, sponsor, crest, and player printing. That gives it a strong contrast and makes it stand apart clearly from Liverpool’s red home shirt and white away shirt from the same season. The 125 Years crest detail is especially important, as it ties the shirt directly to Liverpool’s anniversary season.
