Designed for high-demand data centers, campus networks, and enterprise environments, the Extreme Networks 10G SR SFP+ 300m Ext.Temp transceiver delivers reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet over multimode fiber with an LC duplex connector. This hot-swappable SFP+ module is optimized for extended temperature operation, ensuring stable performance in challenging environments—from crowded racks to outdoor telemetry enclosures. With its compact, pluggable design, it provides a scalable uplink solution that minimizes downtime, reduces cabling complexity, and supports dense, fabric-based networking architectures. Whether you’re upgrading existing infrastructure or deploying a new fabric, this SFP+ transceiver offers robust compatibility, strong signal integrity, and long-term value for data centers, enterprise networks, and service provider deployments.

  • High-speed 10G Ethernet over multimode fiber: This SR (Short Reach) SFP+ transceiver transmits data at 10 Gbps over multimode fiber, making it ideal for LAN uplinks, server to switch connections, and storage networking. With an 850 nm VCSEL and LC duplex connector, it supports reliable, low-latency links up to 300 meters on appropriate OM2/OM3/OM4 fiber, enabling scalable uplink bandwidth for growing networks without overhauling backbone cabling.
  • Extended temperature capability for harsh environments: Built for reliability in challenging settings, the Extreme Networks 10G SR SFP+ Ext.Temp module operates across an extended temperature range. This makes it well-suited for data centers with variable cooling, outdoor facilities, or edge deployments where ambient conditions can fluctuate. The extended-temp design helps maintain link integrity and consistent performance in environments that push standard commercial components.

how to install Extreme Networks 10G SR SFP+ 300m Ext.Temp

  • Power down the device or perform a standard hot-swap according to your equipment’s maintenance procedure. SFP+ modules are designed for hot-swapping in modern switches and routers, allowing for minimal downtime when upgrading uplinks or expanding capacity.
  • Identify an available SFP+ slot that supports 10GBASE-SR in your switch, router, or storage switch. Confirm that the slot is compatible with LC duplex transceivers and multimode fiber.
  • Handle the transceiver by its edges and avoid touching the optical connector faces. Remove the dust cap only when you are ready to install, and clean the fiber connectors prior to mating the patch cables.
  • Insert the Extreme Networks 10G SR SFP+ Ext.Temp module firmly into the SFP+ slot until it seats with a click. Ensure the module is fully engaged and aligned with the slot, then re-secure any hot-swap provisions if applicable.
  • Connect a clean LC-LC multimode fiber patch cord (OM2/OM3/OM4 as appropriate) between the transceiver and the target device. Verify the connector is clean and free of fibers, then power on the device or allow it to boot. Use the management interface to confirm link status and monitoring data from the transceiver.
  • Check link integrity and performance. Look for a solid link LED indicator and confirm 10G link status in the device’s interface. If available, review DDM/DOM metrics to verify operating temperatures, optical power levels, and transmitter/receiver health.
  • Document the change in your network inventory and label the fiber paths for future maintenance. If compatibility issues arise, consult your vendor’s interoperability guides, or verify that the transceiver’s firmware and the device’s software versions are up to date.

Good chair, Hensley is more comfortable
Color: Grey, Color: Grey
Received chair in a large box and assembly was easy. Instructions call for 2-person assembly but I set out to do as much as I could by myself until someone else was available. No tools needed other than the Allen wrench provided. I assembled the chair in under an hour by myself. The 2 person portion of the assembly was for attaching the seat to the wheel assembly but I managed to attach it myself with some careful maneuvering. The chair is nice and comfortable enough, but I was spoiled by the comfort of trying a different Serta model (Hensley, now discontinued) ina store. I couldn't find that model anywhere else and the floor model was SOOOO comfortable with its Serta Smart Layers. I was hoping Bryce would be a close second. After trying Bryce for a few days, I'd say its a distant third. If I never met Hensley, Bryce might have a higher rating. Update: based on other reviews, I made covers for the armrests to prevent wear and peeling of the padding cover.

Comfort and Support
Color: Grey
If you're looking for an office chair with comfort and support in mind, then this is one you should consider. Item delivered on time as stated when purchased. Assembly instructions were quite clear, just make sure all parts are accounted for when opening box. Pay attention to the supplied screw sizing during assembly per the instructions. The supplied hex key, if used, will get the assembly job done, but would recommend using a cordless drill with clutch and appropriate sized hex bit for faster and less fatiguing hand work. Just be sure to start screws by hand first to make sure they start threading into the openings so you won't cross thread the screws. Once assembled, set the chair adjustments to your liking and enjoy a very nice looking, comfortable, and supportive office chair. I especially like the lumbar support built into this product. One last note, if you are going to use this product on hard surfaced floors it is recommended that you purchase soft office chair wheels (sold here on Amazon) because the wheels supplied are hard plastic and will scratch or mar hard flooring.

Great chair!
Color: Black
Had some issues with Delivery! But got the chair. Beautiful and comfortable. Had one once before as a gaming chair, same kind but bought it from walmart. I used to fall asleep in it all the time. Now i have it for work! One of the best chairs for the cheapest price you can get! If you want a more comfortable chair then this..... your looking at about 300 bucks. Which is next on my list! It comes with its own screws and washers. The manual is self explanatory however you do kinda gotta play the guessing game. It's pretty simple! match the screws up with the ones in diagram. It comes with an Alan wrench. Your hand might be a bit tired tho. I advise to tighten them with super lock tight or gorilla glue so they never come unloose. And gorilla glue the bolt covers on. Keep in mind if you use gorilla glue..... they will never come off. Lol. But as far as tighting it.... do not over tighten it. Tighten enough to where you have to put some pressure on it to turn it half way and stop. Another tip, it's a bit of a pain to set it up with one person. If you got an extra set of hands... use em. If not.... you might be their for a bit. Start with setting up base. Then put arms on seat. (Keep bolts loose but screwed in. You'll see why later when you tighten them down) Then attach back to arms and seat. (Now make sure bolts are in holes and tighten them down. But not at once! Do about 4 turns, move to another one. Then the other side. It's like tightening lug nuts on the wheel of a car. If you tighten one all the way down it will throw all the other bolts off and make it much more difficult to ease the bolts into the holes they go in) Then attach seat to base. Believe me. It's way easier if you do it like that instead of how the installation instructions say. After that, put the caps on the holes to cover the bolts. If you don't glue them, they will pop off ..... their not..... super good. But!!!! 1 or 2 drops of gorilla glue and you never have to worry about them popping off. (They seem like they go on their tight, but they don't stay on!)
