DOW FILMTEC™  TW30-1812-50HR Home RO Membrane Element

DOW FILMTEC TW30-1812-50HR Elements for home drinking water treatment units produce 50 GPD (7.9 L/h) of permeate with 99% stabilized salt rejection at standard test conditions. They are shipped dry for convenient handling and long shelf-life. Dow’s next generation elements are a fully compatible replacement for existing DOW FILMTEC residential RO elements. DOW FILMTEC TW30-1812-50HR elements have been tested and certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 58 for material requirements only for safe use in drinking water applications.  

DOW FILMTEC TW30-1812-50HR Elements is FDA – 21 CFR 177.2550; Food and Drug Administration Compliant.

Permeate flow and salt rejection based:  500ppm NaHCO3, 77°F, 15% recovery, pH 8.0, and 50 psig.

Operating Limits for TW30-1812-50HR

*Maximum temperature for continuous operation above pH 10 is 95°F
**Under certain conditions, the presence of free chlorine and other oxidizing agents will cause premature membrane failure. Since oxidation damage is not covered under warranty, Dow recommends removing residual free chlorine by pretreatment prior to membrane exposure.

To change the daily production of your system, simply replace the membrane and the corresponding flow restrictor to the desired flow rate.

To use a FilmTec membrane in a system with a non-standard housing, simply replace membrane housing (and appropriate plumbing connections) with a standard housing.
