The S2 Custom 24 starts with a comfortable, contoured mahogany body crowned by an asymmetric bevel-cut maple top. Its 25-inch-scale Pattern Thin mahogany neck is adorned with an easy-playing 24-fret rosewood fingerboard, while its USA-made 85/15 pickups churn out all the high-octane humbucking tones you can handle. The S2 Custom 24-08's mahogany neck boasts a Pattern Thin shape, which is an updated version of the company's traditional Wide Thin neck style. The Pattern Thin neck shape is fast and comfortable — ideal for players with smaller hands or guitarists who use classical left-hand positioning, pivoting with their thumb on the back of the neck. This insanely comfortable neck is topped with a 10-inch-radius, 24-fret rosewood fingerboard that's guaranteed to facilitate lightning-fast fretwork.

PRS 85/15 humbucking pickups

The PRS S2 Custom 24-08 comes equipped with a USA-made set of 85/15 humbuckers designed by Paul Reed Smith himself. These masterful vintage-style humbuckers revise the brand's original pickup designs and sound terrific, whether used in humbucking or single-coil modes. From shimmering cleans to blistering high-gain tones, the clarity and extended tonal range provided by these pickups make the S2 Custom 24-08 the ideal workhorse guitar, and each pickup is carefully tuned using a proprietary TCI process. Two independent coil-splitting mini toggles further fortify your sonic arsenal with a range of spanky single-coil tones, taking the total number of pickup combinations to eight.
