Greek Orthodox - The lambada is the traditional Easter candle that everyone in Greece holds on the evening of “Megalo Savvato” (Holy Saturday) These candles are essential to the Greek Orthodox Easter service on Holy Saturday evening, also known as Anastasi. The candle symbolizes the resurrection of Christ and represents the light that dispels the darkness of death. It is believed that the "holy" light arrives from Jerusalem in every church a little before midnight, thus allowing candles to be lit.

Catholic – Palm Sunday - The Great Entrance of the Divine Liturgy commemorates the "Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem", so the meaningfulness of this moment is evident on Palm Sunday as everyone stands, holding their branches and lit candles.

Easter candles are a tradition in the Maronite Catholic and Orthodox churches, where kids carry a decorated candle during the mass.  The flickering flame represents the light of Christ amidst darkness, reminding believers of the hope and love that Jesus brings.

This is an interesting read to help with your child’s self esteem and behavior. The first several chapters on the psychology behind behavior were more helpful and interesting than the second half of the book that addresses specific behaviors.
