Driving to Salem #4 - 6"x4"This is a 4x6 gouache and acrylic painting on cold press watercolor paper. Gouache is kind of like a thick watercolor paint; I love it for its opacity and chalkiness. I will sign the painting on the front and back. This painting is of a spring day on I 5 south of Portland. I couldnt get enough of the orange poppies growing along the road. I recommend framing this painting with a mat that has a 5x7 opening so, look for a frame that says 5x7 mat, or 5x7

This painting is of a spring day on I-5 south of Portland. I couldn’t get enough of the orange poppies growing along the road.

I recommend framing this painting with a mat that has a 5”x7” opening – so, look for a frame that says 5”x7” mat, or 5”x7” art/photo. The interior dimensions of the frame itself will be larger. Framing with a 5”x7” mat will allow you to see the full painting and I like the “natural” edge of the painting.

• You can also choose a 4”x6” mat, but it will cover up a small portion of the painting and you won’t have the extra white space.
