वट सावित्री पूजा एक पारंपरिक हिंदू पूजा है जो मुख्यतः उत्तर और पश्चिम भारत में विवाहित लोग अपने जीवनसाथी की लंबी उम्र और कल्याण के लिए करते हैं। यह ज्येष्ठ मास की अमावस्या को वट (बरगद) वृक्ष के नीचे की जाती है, और इसमें सावित्री की उस महान निष्ठा को सम्मान दिया जाता है, जिन्होंने अपने पति सत्यवान को अपने दृढ़ संकल्प और श्रद्धा से पुनः जीवन दिलाया था। श्रद्धालु व्रत रखते हैं, वट वृक्ष के चारों ओर धागा बांधते हैं और प्रार्थना करते हैं।
