In terms of design, the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low Golf uses the North Carolina University color scheme, combining Jordan 1's signature block pattern with bright white and light blue overlays. The heel counter has the usual "Air Jordan Wings" insignia, which connects these shoes to Jordan's basketball roots. You'll also feel comfortable on the court with the regular full-length Nike Air Conditioning compartment that penetrates the midsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Low was originally released in several colourways, mirroring the High releases and served as a casual take on the signature high-top. Apart from basketball players, there was another group who immediately took to the AJ1 Low – skateboarders. The skateboarders found that the low-top was more comfortable for tricks.
