Arthur 'Blind' Blake was a blues and ragtime guitarist, singer and songwriter who was a leading pioneer and member of what became known as the Piedmont school of bluesmen, performing in a style that was associated with the south-eastern states of the USA, mainly around Georgia. He was one of the most accomplished and distinctive of the guitarists associated with this movement. This great-value 74-track 3-CD set comprises most of the recordings released under his own name, all of which came out on the Paramount label, and were recorded variously in Chicago, Ill., Richmond, Ind., and Grafton, WI. It Includes recordings featuring Gus Cannon ('Banjo Joe'), Johnny Dodds (clarinet), Jimmy Bertrand (slide whistle, percussion) and Charlie Spand, Alex Robinson, Aletha Dickerson (piano). He ceased recording when Paramount went bankrupt in 1932 by 1934 he had died from tuberculosis and pneumonia at the age of 37. Although not an absolutely complete or definitive anthology, this collection provides a substantial and comprehensive overview of the career and recordings of an artist who influenced other Piedmont artists like Blind Willie McTell, Buddy Moss, Josh White and Rev. Gary Davis, as well as later top guitarists like Ry Cooder, Leon Redbone and John Fahey.

Looks good so far, will update once installed
Have not installed this yet, so this is only a first impression review. I bought it to use in the wheel well area on my truck, so I’ll update later once I actually get it on and see if it makes a real difference. So far it looks good out of the box and seems straightforward enough. One thing I’d recommend is making sure you have a sound deadening roller for install, because I would not try putting this on without one. Too early for me to say how well it works for road noise since it is not installed yet, but I wanted to post my initial thoughts for now and will update later.

Great product, very impressed
Looks good, adhesive grabs well, forms well to floor pans. Price is great will be ordering more again. It definitely deadened the tin can sound you can get.

Solid Product, lots of it too
Ive had the insane rattling from my subwoofer and the highway drone from my aftermarket exhaust, and this 80mil sound deadening mat was the exact fix I needed. The 36 sqft kit (which comes as 33 pieces) was plenty to fully cover my trunk, rear deck, and floorboards. Since it's a butyl-based material, there’s no awful asphalt smell, and it adhered incredibly well with just a simple roller. The difference is honestly night and day. My bass hits so much tighter and cleaner now without the whole back end vibrating like a tin can. Even better, the cabin is significantly quieter at high speeds; that aggressive exhaust drone is finally muffled to a deep, tolerable purr. If you want an affordable way to upgrade your audio quality and actually hear your music on long drives, I highly recommend this! It took some weekend elbow grease, but the payoff is incredible.

Would recommend
Size: 10 sqft
I used this sound deadening material in my car during an audio and interior upgrade, and the difference was noticeable immediately. Road noise, vibrations, and rattling were reduced a lot, especially on the doors and floor panels. The car feels much quieter and more solid while driving now. The material was easy to cut and apply, and the adhesive stuck very well without peeling up. It has a quality feel to it and conforms nicely around curves and tight areas. I also noticed my speakers sound cleaner and have better bass response after installing it. For the price, this sound deadening material is a great value and definitely worth it if you want a quieter ride and better overall sound quality in your vehicle.

Worth it!
Size: 50 sqft
I was worried it wouldn't work as well since it's 50 mil and I thought I got the wrong thing. Nope! Works great. Did all four doors on my 93 civic and I have enough for the floor I think. Solid price. Noise reduced by about 5 decibels hive difference. Very sticky and easy to apply I'm so happy I was able to cover most all of my car. If I need more, definitely buying this since I got so much extra and I thought I would. PS: that five decibel thing is only with the four doors. My firewall is next and then my floor, but it's such a huge difference
