Pickard China is safe for use as determined by the Federal Food & Drug Administration compliance guidelines. It is recommended that acidic foods and beverages such as tomato paste and citrus juices never be stored in any ceramic container for an extended period of time.

Nice peppercorns!

This is a container full nice fresh whole peppercorns for a reasonable price. I use freshly cracked pepperin my cooking, as well as at the table seasoning and it makes a nice difference in taste.

Good pepper, large container for the price

This is good pepper, a large container and seemed like the best price from what I saw. A great canister to use as a refill for your pepper grinder. Honestly my only complaint is that the container is a bit tall for my cupboards. I guess I'm used to the sort of "standard" size of containers like this that I've picked up at Costco and cooking outlets like Orson Gygi. This is taller than those and was a little tough to fit but it barely worked.
