Alpha Estate RoséAn award winning ros from the Amyndeon plateau in northwestern Macedonia (northern Greece), the Alpha Estate ros is made from Xinmavro grapes from a single vineyard. The wine, which was a surprise favorite in one of my wine tastings, has very good scores from professional wine critics including Jancis Robinson for its combination of fruity and floral (rose) aromas, good balance, and long finish.
