The swimsuit is lined with a lining. This is a thinner layer of material under the top layer. The lining ensures a longer life of the swimsuit, and the swimsuit is not transparent when wet. This also applies to light or white swimsuits. The only disadvantage of a lining is that the swimsuits will take longer to dry.
