Trà Olong Sakura là một trong những loại trà Oolong được trồng trên nhưng đồi trà Bảo Lộc, sản xuất theo quy trình của Nhật Bản. Trà Olong Sakura được chế biến từ những búp trà non vào sáng sớm ban mai. Sau đó trà được làm xông hơi bằng hơi nước (steam). Đây là điều khác biệt lớn nhất so với trà Oolong của Việt Nam. Việc xông hơi trà giúp cho trà sạch sẽ, loại bỏ tạp chất, làm ngưng quá trình phát triển và lên men tự nhiên của búp trà sau khi hái, nhằm giữ cho trà có vị ngọt tự nhiên. Ngoài ra còn giúp lá trà được mềm mại và xanh tươi. Sau khi xông hơi xong, trà được làm khô, rồi cuộn lại trước khi đem sấy và đóng gói.

Trà Olong Sakura cung cấp nhiều nhiều khoáng chất chống lại quá trình oxy hóa, một tác nhân gây ra nhiều loại bệnh tật. Ngoài ra trà Olong Sakura còn giảm cholesterol, giảm cân, thanh lọc cơ thể. Trà Olong Sakura có vị thanh nhất, nhẹ nhàng phù hợp cho người lớn tuổi và người cao huyết áp.
